Playstation 1 suggestions
I've already started collecting PS1 games that were very nostalgic to me because I got my console back from a friend of mine. Here are the games that I currently have so far.
Crash Bandicoot 1 - 3 Spyro the Dragon Parappa the Rappa Croc Twisted Metal III Tekken 2 Ape Escape Madden 1997 Spacejam basketball I could really use some suggestions on some games that would be awesome for my nonexistent collection. Thank you guys in advance. |

Could always go for FF7-9 non-greatest hits (black label).

@Hero
Noted about the FF7 games. Pretty sure I'll just end up getting good copies of those from Amazon. @Mario I asked for suggestions; not for your ps1 collection.

O pls
There was still a reasoning behind it. I wasn't only being a jackass here: I buy games that I like. These were most of the games I think you could affordably find interesting, since I managed to find them myself. |

I always enjoyed playing Bust-A-Groove. Not sure if you'd like it, but it's rhythm based.

Re: Playstation 1 suggestions
Digimon is always good. I would add Crash Team Racing to your crash games, tons of fun especially with friends. Also, Legend of Dragoon man. A1 top notch rpg for its time, and it's a shame they never made a sequel.

I'm surprised no one has said Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Re: Playstation 1 suggestions
I went to my local vintage store and couldn't find digimon. I found beyblade and bought that since it was 7 bucks. FF7 was 50 bucks because it was near to being a pristine copy. Most likely I'll buy that on amazon. I totally forgot about crash racing. I need to find that.

Chrono Cross
GTA I & II Gundam Battle Assault 2 was good iirc Nothing beats Resident Evil 1-3 if you're into that Tekken I could go on, but maybe list what genres you're into?

Re: Playstation 1 suggestions
Is Spyro 2 better than the first Alex?
I like all sorts ranging from fighting to single player rpg games. I personally liked tekken 3 a lot, but I couldn't find a copy of that either. |

Re: Playstation 1 suggestions
I find it to be the best of the series because of the engaging storyline, the added mini-games and challenges in each level (although some are irritable), being able to unlock new abilities to progress further into the game, bosses aren't complete pushovers like they were in Spyro 1, etc.
Spyro 1 is really great as a simple platformer though, not to mention the level design in the first game is dabes. (mm)

Re: Playstation 1 suggestions
Contrary to Alex, I found Spyro 2 the worst of the original three (but still lightyears better than any more recent installment of Spyro); Year of the Dragon is by far my favourite, but I dumped a LOT of time into the first one as a child so it's hella nostalgic for me.
I haven't seen anybody mention Crash Bash yet -- an infuriatingly fun game and platinum relics are still the bane of my existence. |

I personally found Spyro 3 the worst in the original series, but it was definitely still fun because of the massive content.

Ico.
Metal Gear Solid. The Namco Museum stuff, I think there were like 5 or 6 of them, are alright if you like older arcade stuff (Pac-Man, Galaga, Druaga, etc) ReBoot had a game. Gauntlet. Dino Crisis.
