It isn't even a high FMO. HA
Worst initial difficulty rating in a while SUPER fun song though

Agreed with the above guys, it looks more like a mid-high FMO to me.

Chaosmaid isn't showing up in the shop for Frankie or I ?_?
EDIT: I should mention that it's not on the homepage shop and the in-game shop wasn't working either.

Sara: it seems that because it is also the veteran song it needs to be purchased through the legacy engine~ oop
Edit: This has just been fixed, so you can access it through the FFR Shop page ;D

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
Storm Raid Battle was a decent file but conversion totally wrecked a lot of parts, particularly the 192nd section which had a gigantic inconsistency of zeroframe and 1 frame intervals.
Taking a look at it now

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
4 / 5 songs played and still feel nothing but disappointment. Even the easiest chart was gross.
Gonna play chaos maid now. Also expected the 0 chart to be more dumpy considering who it is. Yep chaosmaid was dull as well. Can't say I'm surprised. Though, I always have enjoyed dropping credits on a chart I don't want to play again. That's always a great thing. Last edited by Xx{Midnight}xX; 04-27-2012 at 11:52 PM.. |

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
Storm Raid Battle is horrible. Without those forced jacks in the jump sections, it wouldn't be FGO-worthy. Those jacks don't even make sense with the music so I must be missing something incredibly obscure, aside from the fact that it's a 0 file.
To contrast, the beginning is horribly understepped. That weird integraation-esque pattern is included basically 40 notes in, but the 24th rolls and the colourful trills from the DF version of this file weren't even considered, and nothing was done to accent the E-E-E-E part of the voice. What the ****? How this file even made it through the batch is puzzling enough, never mind figuring out those useless jacks. Madnight pretty much nailed the rest of my thoughts on the head concerning this week's files. Yikes. The only remotely decent one is Chaosmaid because it has one-hand trills and FFR needs more of those... but that's still not redemptive. |

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
In its current state as 2 frame gallop minijacks, it does indeed require you to basically go offbeat if you're actually trying to score on the file haha. That's why I sent a fix to bmah/JX. I actually heard Sprite could do this as well

Re: Songs of the Week (April 27, 2012)
I wasn't trying to score (that) well, I was (and am still) trying to understand the pattern choices.
