Buying a Super Gameboy. Recommend me games!
I know that I want to get one of the Pokemons because I have never played any of them before, and probably Mario Land 2 Six Coins because as a kid I use to love those games.
Pass that, not sure what all the Gameboy/Gameboy Color had that has endured through the ages. What do you cats recommend? |

I would recommend Kirby's Block Ball. It's basically Brick Break with a Kirby theme and bosses.

Re: Buying a Super Gameboy. Recommend me games!
Lmfao good luck coming across [Edit: and buying it, that is] a cartridge. Trust me though, you do want to try this title out in some way. Roundbox's list is solid (I grew up on Mario/Wario Land and the GB Zeldas so I can vouch for these franchises).
Here's some: - Bionic Commando (very obviously, don't know about Elite Forces though) - Dragon Warrior 3 (to be honest I haven't played it, but it's the one RPG I consider often since I've been told it is quite involved) - Gargoyle's Quest (Ghosts 'N Goblins spinoff which spawned the amazing Demon's Crest on SNES, although I do not know if the sequel GB port is even available since it is Japan exclusive) - Kid Dracula (amazing spritework and tone, then again this is sitting in my ROM library and I've never seen a physical copy around) - Wario Land 3 (general addition because I think this one has excellent replay value) Last edited by Crazyjayde; 12-5-2015 at 04:07 AM.. |

Seconding dragon warrior 3, it's the best title for the GBC that I've played IMO and it's not even close.
Sword of Hope 2 was a fun, if extremely antiquated game. everyone already covered the wario, mario and zelda games. they are all excellent. although, even the first GB super mario land game is pretty fun too, id check it out. |

I don't think Kirby Pinball can be played a Super Gameboy---didn't it have a sensor IIRC? This'll be sitting in my SNES.
Already ordered Pokemon Blue, Will be for sure getting Mario Land 2 and Link's Awakening a little later in the week. Looking into the RPGs. I would love to play a some. Feel free to keep throwing titles out, and the SGB is region free so show me dat importer's love and recommend me some weeb stuff |

If you're looking for an RPG there is always Final Fantasy Legend I - III.
There's also Final Fantasy Adventure which is more of a Zelda-esque action/adventure game. |

Are those actually good compared to the mainstream FFs? I mean, I know Adventure is really the prequel to Secret of Mana so that should be a solid buy, but I don't think I've known anyone hot for any of the Legends

Re: Buying a Super Gameboy. Recommend me games!
As someone who owns two 3ds
I'd love to play pokemon on a gameboy again. Or Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland on the GBA. Or The Megaman Battle Network games. Though admittedly soon all of these will be on the VC but the old way is still pretty fun. Edit: in fact recently I did get to play pokemon on a gameboy again The guy was laughing as I fanboyed pretty hard. Last edited by XelNya; 12-6-2015 at 01:53 AM.. |

I second Mole Mania. Very engaging puzzle-adventure game.
