Anime North 2012 Attendance List
 

So i went to Anime North last year, and it was really fun but there were only a few FFRers that also went. Apparently a ton more are going next year, and everyone seems really excited, so this will be a list of whoever is going/considering going. Anime North takes place in Toronto at the Toronto Convention Center, and it runs from
May 25th - 27th. It's insanely fun and there's so many different events and things to buy.

me, xiao, wtfbrandon, kommisar and gpop are all going as a group and rooming together with the exception of gpop. xthai and silentoath are going too but probably won't be around us since they have their own groups going on

a bunch of people on #kbo are planning on coming but god knows if any of them will make it because the majority ditch out last minute or don't show

this will be my 5th year going to AN \o/

p.s. it's at the TCC, not MTCC. MTCC is downtown while TCC is near the airport

This time we'll plan ahead of schedule so something like last year doesn't happen again where our group completely missed your group, lmao. I'll probably have some info with contact info and meetup time/spot up when its May

Put me on the list as maybe since many factors are at play including whether or not I want to attempt the drive the passports. And of course the money factor.

I think the main time for everyone to meet up at the ddr/rhythm gaming room is saturday evening sometime. This'll be my 3rd year going, both previous years were baller as hell. It's pretty great to meet erryone especially next year which is going to be the largest meetup yet.

I'd really love to be there this year. I don't think I have anything that weekend so I should be present.

By the way, I will drive from Quebec City to there, so anyone somewhat close to the route that needs a lift can contact me. It would be much less boring with other people.

Considering. Low chance, but it all depends on what happens after my contract job is done (finishes before the convention begins).

Also, going to be pricey to fly down there...I'm nowhere near the East.

Actually we would represent the prairie provinces heh. Trevor/T-Force is on the west coast and he may come over.

Also, Air Canada + cheapest flights + 25th-27th = approx. $620 round trip for me. And I didn't say anything about hotels either.

Not just you explicitly and you had a legitimate reason for not going last year so that's forgivable. Others said they'd go months in advance but ended up not showing when the event finally arrived :V

P.S. I'll most likely be cosplaying again but as a more recognizable character this time LoL. This year no one could figure out who I went as since I didn't have the complete attire or look.

the weekend pass is worth it. buying a day pass is a complete waste unless you know for sure that you aren't coming back the following day(s)

I talked it over with my mom. Herogashix might be there if our mom can scrape together funds. lol our mom sucks at saving so don't cross your fingers for us.

Other than that if I can get a job for funds-- unlikely-- mom said that if it doesn't interfere with my school I could hop on the bus alone to Toronto.
