This whole "automated mario sequence" was designed so that the sfx correlates to the bgm, which is the famous nicovideo suite.

(original, nonmario) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsdLNfT7-gc

If anyone has any idea how this is done, please tell me.

Shorter versions. This is just a cool automated sequence of events.

Kirby (no music correlation): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PuKYhbksSA

Mario (music correlation) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CI8qB0Uk_MQ

Luigi (music correlation) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4bNRVVixvo

Once again, any idea, please tell.

Lunar Magic is the program for making Mario stages. The point is to move mario on his own by making the stage a moving stage. However, I'd like a tutorial on how to use Lunar Magic, because it's not explained well.

However, Lunar Magic was designed to make "functional" stages, that don't have glitches in them. There's also a program for Kirby as well. They may be the same program. If anyone has any idea, please do tell.

Props to .dot for showing me this vid.

What's the point in editing the levels? :/

The point, as stated in the first post, is to correlate the sfx to a selected bgm.

To be able to accomplish something as long as the nico suite is phenomenal.

It took about six months to create.

Yea, six months doesn't surprise me. That sort of timing required extreme intricacy.

Some people went as far as to make a storyline for it.

Luigi's Revenge Against the Yoshi

It was pretty cool. One hour movie, jampacked with stunts, and a storyline.

Nicovideo mylist, sry guyz.

I've seen those before.

Someone should put some metal to them. \m/ Except that would likely be incredibly hard...

There's one for a Japanese rock song called GONG.
