actually i would pick the new 2 over the OT (original trilogy) any day of the week... I was good and II was great.. but I believe that III is going to be the crowning glory of the 6..

I'm sick of people bashing Ep I and II because it's trendy to do so...Ep II was great, and Ep I was good but still the worst of the 5 so far. It doesn't make it a bad movie.

Ep II's only fault was bad acting, which all the movies have, so ha.

I blame Episode 2 on the ridiculous overuse of CGI. Example: Remember that scene where they were talking to Yoda and he was on the pod thing? EVERYTHING in the background was so CGI you could smell it. Lucas didnt even make a complete scene set, he just had the CGI crew whip something up for the sake of CGI.

Episode II didnt have much story, Episode I was okay. They made a pretty large gap between II and IV, it should be interesting how III turns out.

Episode I was not my thing. Watchable, certainly, but not...STAR WARS. Episode two was significantly better. They WERE a bit heavy on the CGI, but I don't think it was that bad. Some of the scripting and MOSTLY the acting in 1 was pretty bad. Worse than The SW trilogy. But II had some pretty nifty things in it.
