Me and my Hand
Posted on: January 8, 2009, at 08:48:55am

Now first of all..get your mind out of the gutters, now to the point of this random thought.

I am so sick and tired of trying to AAA a song or merely even FC something simple and have my hand act like a 2 year old just learning the word 'no'.

I think my hand has something like left side/right side reversals, but in my case its upside/downside reversals, where commonly my middle finger will move to the opposite arrow I want it to. I notice especially on easy songs (where you wait for almost an eternity for every arrow) where I see one up arrow and I go to hit it and my finger says "nah, not today" and moves down.

The other problem is my hand not really giving a damn. I'll be playing along and my hand will freeze. (More common on just one finger) Noticeable on simple stairs when one little arrow makes it past shouting "FREEDOM!"

Finally there is the point at which the bones themselves (namely the break sites) simply tell me they don't want to play anymore. This isn't like a little voice with an English boy's accent saying "Please sir, can we stop now?..I'm getting rather tired."

Instead they decide to take the more direct approach and take on a more grizzled Scottish accent and storm the gates of the pain receptor part of my brain, from which they proceed to smash anything that looks like it relates to my hand. Thus in turn I make manly grunt as my hand twinges because pain doesn't affect me.. ; _ ;

These happen infrequently but always happen at the times when it can get itself a good laugh. As for those army pictures..haven't really bothered yet.
