Just because I am not in the tournament this year doesn't mean that I cannot make a tournament blog solely for the sake of being fun (: Under the assumption that I am placed under D6, this is what we're looking at:

Round One: Spoils (BF) [Cutoff: 3-1-0-1]




Earlier in the week, I was blocked in many areas including the 12th jumpgluts, the polyrhythmic one handed trills, and the 24th jumpgluts. I was surprised to nail most of them without mirror but this managed to be my best score for the week. I am absolutely sure that I can AAA this with mirror, but given the time I had, that isn't feasible. Fortunately, it was enough to meet the 3-1-0-1 cutoff, so if I were to join the tournament, I'd move onto round two.

Round Two: Since 1983 (AAA) [Cutoff: AAA]




I am glad to snag the AAA. I'm honestly surprised to get this due to the lack of training I had and the lack of time. Cutoff is unsurprisingly a AAA this time, so I'm glad to see myself advance to round three. I find the awkward [12]414[12]414 pattern really easy to attack since my left hand is fortunately stronger with awkward patterns. The biggest obstacles I had to face in this file are my polyrhythmic consistencies and my speed throughout the 24th solos.

Round Three: Shotgun Surgery (BF) [Cutoff: 3-0-0-2]




Although I screwed up at the easiest part, I am really content with this score. The fact that I AAA'd the ending of this file (the part I struggle the most) is an achievement in itself. This file made me realize that my hand/jump cohesion needs some work! Round Four, here I come!

Round Four: Sleepmix Strikes Back (6-1-0-1) [Cutoff: 2-0-0-0]




RIP iironiic. I know this is improvable but I have been too busy lately. If I joined, I would be ranked 21/60 and could have eliminated Zyphoror!

Round Five: Phi-dentity Crisis (12-1-0-5) [Cutoff: 1-0-0-3]
Round Six: Extratone Pirates (Drunk Optimus Remix) Combo: (105-25-0-57); PA: (53-4-2-8) [Cutoff: 5-0-0-3] - lol

Proof that I belong in D5:
