Simfile Revamp I

For those who don't know, this is a pack of pad simfiles for Stepmania. My goal was to make a pack I could put on an ITG machine so we could have more fun songs to play, we've achieved that.

Simfile Revamp I is finally released, after about 45 days. We have 20 files in this pack, and we'll release pack II when we hit 20 accepted files. Just because this pack is out, doesn't mean that submissions have closed. Submissions will always be open because we will have an unlimited number of these packs, as long as we get submissions.

Rate my songs. Those are the first two songs I ever stepped, so I'm honored to have them in this pack. Lemme know what you think.

BTW, I'm gonna work on beg-heavy for life light and doubles charts for each song. I'll put them in the FFR db and then put a link here so you can update. I'll make sure they're good enough with Gamepro first though.

Advertise this on Aaron In Japan's simfile thread (or ITG thread). Those guys will probably be happy to try these out on a hacked cabinet.

Downloading this just to see the graphics they made for my file. :P

I sat beside Zagh while he made pad steps for Jai Envie :P. I passed it on pad and they were pretty damn fun. I thought he sent it to Rebirth so I was just asking why it wasn't in the pack.

I wanted to release the pack at 20 sims, if I had accepted Zagh's Jai Envie I'd have 21. Jai Envie will be released with pack 2.

I shoulda made doubles steps for mine, but I'll just do that next time. This pack came out well, and for the last time it's JenovaSephiroth and not ShadowSephiroth, the spinoff of my AIM name.
Other than that, I love this pack.

Anyway, I liked Blurk's Amefuri except for it being kinda awkward for pad (I played it index while alternating). Zagh's was ok, though it seems like more liek a 13 than a 12. Nemesis was pretty good. MGS was decent, although I'm a bit biased against hands. Didn't try much else.

I still like my Headache steps. Simple, but a solid 11. If the song was longer, it'd be an easy 12, I think.

I liked Nighttime Story a lot. It has its fair share of sudden BPM changes and minefields.
