Not sure if this has come up yet, but when someone is insta'd, can they still post until the host makes the official death post; or are they dead from the insta instantaneously?

They are dead as soon as the last vote is cast. No one could change a vote to save them at that point.

You don't have to stop posting though. At least, I have never seen a game where someone stopped posting after their insta.

Edit: No, I actually just thought about what you were asking and you can't post after you are insta'ed. Ignore the aforementioned statement.

Also, we should add to the rules:

5c. You are not permitted to give another player your password under any circumstances.

If there's A LOT of changing in vote, and it's unclear whether or not a person has been insta'd, they should still have the chance to vote. But if it's clear, as in if someone tallied the votes and said "Person A is insta'd," then they should be smart enough NOT to post. If someone fails to notice that a person is insta'd and is not mentioned in the thread, that person should not be penalized. Although, it's a player's responsibility to be fully aware of the game. Just don't let it happen. If you know you're dead, don't post.

This is pretty much common sense, I don't think it needs to be restated.

IRL rule should be enforced, etc., I've been in a game where it's occurred, etc.

Movement to ban argo and rzr for a single game.

This'll end the arguments and ensure the rule is enforced.

If both of you really had to play, you could split 1 to TWG and another to jTWG, otherwise, it's not allowed.

And I hope people don't make another 5 page discussion over this movement

Also, I was re-reading through some of the rules you added and I whole heartedly disagree with this:

Would it be worthwhile to set up a rule that spoke specifically to ban length? If someone gets a one day ban, chances are that at most they'll miss one night or one day, probably not both. In that case, they should probably be allowed to stay in the game, and either take their phantom, or miss their chance to use a night power. They can still be talking on AIM, and if they trust someone, get them to post logs as a proxy way of posting.

Bans longer than that should probably just automatically equal replacement if possible, and death if not. If someone gets a week ban, the ONLY way they can participate in the game is by evading, or being allowed to vote/use powers over AIM and not PM.

If you are banned for any reason, you are obliged to contact the host IMMIDIATELY to inform them of the length of your ban. If your ban is for one day only, you will be allowed to continue playing, though will be unable to make use of any voting or night powers that come up while you are banned. If your ban is for longer than one day, at the host's sole discretion you may be replaced or killed. You may not under any circumstances engage in ban evasion to continue playing while site banned.

That's a really good idea, devonin. No reason to take them out of the game entirely for just one day, but at the same time, we can't exactly advocate ban evasion.

Also, the only reason I'm posting it like this and not directly asking is because it's related to my current game and if any players in it see it I could get into trouble.

Since every other rule is being completely re done, here's something for fixing:

Phantoms. Ok, we all know how they work. But there are players who hold off on their voting to avoid insta or something. But their still COMPLETELY active. So it's sort of unfair to the player to still recieve phantom(s).

For example, in my current game there's a player (Bynary Fission) who's very active. But didn't want to vote right away. Well, now he has 2 phantoms. He's still been one of my most active players.

Something should be resolved about this.

Yes, safetying works, but that doesn't stop situations like this from arising.

Also, with phantoms I have a question:
If insta is more than half of the amount of people to votes ratio, and a player has exactly half the votes and one phantom, is it insta?
