Has anyone seen 2012
Does everything look fake, overexagerated or is it just a bad movie?
I need to know if I should go tonight or not?

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
You should go just to satisfy your curiosity.
I haven't seen the movie either but you never know what might happen if you go.

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
It was actually entertaining to watch. I don't think it looked fake, but I think the directors were over exaggerating while producing the movie. The effects were brilliant though... It lacks interesting backstory. The Mayan calender and the Mayan history was barely mentioned. Later on in the movie, it becomes really stupid.
It's entertaining at most, but I expected so much more out of this movie. I didn't really learn anything out of this movie, I was quite disappointed. I expected a lot more than... what I saw.

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
Don't
The concept looks really interesting to watch, but I just can't believe myself to go watch a movie on something that I don't think is going to happen, as in, I don't believe the world will end in 2012 just because a really accurate calendar doesn't go on. Though you might just want to see it for fun. |

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Maybe someone else doesn't want to watch it because they hate the number 12. Anyway, whether you choose to watch it or not, it wasn't the best of movies. Maybe wait until blockbuster has it out on rental or something. :/

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
Guys, there was somene on Divorce Court on Friday who actually believed the world was going to end in 2012. He got so caught up in this "theory" that his wife had to divorce him. He sold their car, used up their savings, sold his wife's grandparent's crystal from when they got married, and quit his job. He was arguing against the judge, jury, a scientist, bailiff, and his wife. It was ridiculous, but entertaining nonetheless.

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
I love how some old ancient text predicts the fall of a nation or predicts epic wars and then the first nation to fall and the first war to come along people tie in the ridiculous predictions with the current matters at hand.

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
Here's a perfect example of predictions coming to life, when people WANT them to, not because Oracles ever had the ability to predict them.
Watch this documentary, and a bunch of others like it. They say it's quite unbelievable that someone can predict huge wars hundreds or thousands of years after their time, but it doesn't mean that wars weren't going to happen either way. This documentary shows that while it SEEMS predictions are coming true, they are all coincidences for the most part. http://www.december212012.com/downlo...Day_2012-1.htm

Re: Has anyone seen 2012
If Mayans were so good at seeing the future, you'd think they'd see the Spaniards coming to slaughter them all.
Har har har.
