Talos Principle is really, really good. If Portal 2's a 10 (and for me it is), I'd say this is like a 9.5, pushing 10. Best purchase for me this sale, I think.

Still debating getting Cities: Skylines. I thought there'd be one more day of new sales

edit: no wait that makes no sense portal 2 is the best purchase duh

Excluding Audiosurf, CS:GO, Dark Souls, Fallout 3, Civ 5, Supreme Commander 2 and Warframe, this is what I acquired, not bad.

Cities skylines is amazing if you like Sim City, since it's basically the newest Sim City game as City 5 was absolute garbage.

It's fantastic and modded extremely well. I still play it really frequently and have sunk a lot of hours into it.

I also agree on Talos Principle. One of the best games I've ever played, for sure. I still never managed to find a couple of the star puzzle pieces (Refuse to use guides).

Literally the only thing I bought this sale was a visual novel (If My Heart Had Wings).

I am ashamed of myself.

Borderlands Pre-sequel is incredible in some aspects and awful in others.

Main complaint: the writing is piss-poor compared to the quality of the ones written by Anthony Burch.
Literally every other quest is some SJW bullshit about how misogyny is bad... like, I can agree with the message, but holy fuck is it immersion-breaking. Also every female character I've met so far is lesbian which honestly starts to feel even more unrealistic than there being no homosexual characters. Besides I don't really give a fuck about each character's sexuality when there's so much more interesting stuff to define a character by, especially in a setting as complex and potentially lore-rich as Pandora. Bleh.
Considering that the humor, references, and general spot-on writing were such a huge part of why I enjoyed the first games, this is a big letdown for me.

The positive: the moon jumping is amazing, jump pads are amazing, literally all the z-axis stuff makes combat so good

Besides that, it's Borderlands. Kill shit get loot, still fun as hell with 3 friends.

Make sure one of you plays as Claptrap. His special skill changes the game considerably.

I mean, what fun I've had fighting bosses, only to start bouncing uncontrollably while my gun refuses to stop shooting. Or when fighting a wave of enemies only for Claptrap to decide that my gun now shoots the whole magazine at once and I run out of bullets in seconds.
