Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
When you release i would suggest just having a different folder for SM5 shit.

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
Converting my pad chart for Must Be The Feeling (Delta Heavy mix) for this pack. By that, I mean I'm just moving all of the gimmicks over and restepping it as a keyboard chart, haha.
Shouldn't take me too long. EDIT: whoa, ok -- I'm a little tripped out here. I brought my Syntax chart (made in 3.95 CVS) into SM5 and rather than seeing the negative BPMs like I thought I would see (previous pre-alpha builds), I'm seeing warps. Does this mean that if I work on the chart in SM5, that it will reconvert the warps to their appropriate negatives in the .sm file? EDIT #2: never mind. Doesn't look like it. I think Syntax might be better suited as a SM5 file, unfortunately. I'll make a 3.95 CVS friendly file on top of it. Last edited by TC_Halogen; 08-11-2012 at 12:44 PM.. |

She more than likely put the "..." as a placeholder because FFR forces you to put in two characters minimum for a message. Besides, it was said (by one of the judges of the pack) that it would happen anyway, so she has a right to respond that way for you not reading the thread

Rog knows all of the good songs.
I mean, I was like "omg i'm totes gon step minus one by dodge & fuski" and he's like "LAWLIHAVEAFILEFORTHAT" so yeah. (Not that I mind, Rog -- I'm actually still waiting for you to send me the file so I can use it as a base for BPM tricks, lol). |

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
Just wanted to give this a little bump so it's not forgotten. I'm also wondering who's still planning on submitting for this. A lot of people said they were going to, but just wanted to see who's still planning on submitting. We haven't gotten any more submissions :/

I probably won't be submitting anything else. Got Solo Rulz Pack 2 to do a bunch of charts for that'll keep me busy

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
Yea I caught yours, and I understand. There were a LOT of people though that had jumped in here. So I was just curious as to who was still up for it. I'm really hoping this goes over well. The charts we do have right now are great.

Re: The Xmod Project (Submissions are open)
Picking up my xmod charts again tonight. Probably not going to be what you guys are looking for, but hey I find them pretty fun.
I do have a question though, are you looking for xmod charts that create artificial difficulty, files that have bpm stuff to make the song more entertaining, or both? For example, some of the xmod charts I have played use xmod in inconvenient (yet fitting) places to increase reading difficulty or to throw players off that are getting too comfortable, while one of the charts I have, most of the bpm changes etc are used at times to make the song more interesting without adding all that much difficulty to hitting the actual chart. Does it matter?
