Signups begin now and will end on October 12 at 6:00 pm East coast time. All rounds will start at that time as well. To sign up simply post here saying what division you think you are best for, and if I decide you belong in the other I will place you there. There is no limit to the number of people who can sign up. Each round will last 3 days to the hour, and there will be 8 rounds. There are only TWO divisions: Men's division (advanced - expert) Boys' division (intermediate - moderate) There are NO eliminations. Everyone is in until the very end. The winner is determined by their final combined score after all the rounds will end. And here's where it gets fun: Are you sick of avmisses? Tired of getting wrecked by scores like these?   Then you're in luck. For this tournament, I will calculate your score for each song not based on combo or grand total, but based on a system similar to those used for SM or DDR: Each Good is worth 1 point Each Average is worth 1.50 points Each Miss is worth 2 points Each Boo is worth 1/3 points, your goal being to get as few points as possible on any given song. For example, the Rottel score above would be 8.92 points. Think of it as converting everything into a number of goods. This gives players who get a great score, but get a miss somewhere, a chance to still do well. After the player's point amount on the song is determined, he/she receives a score based on how well they did (like tier points). For example, if the song is GO!, and the player gets 6 points on it, his score for the round would be based on a chart of requirements such as: 1/3 = 10 or fewer points 2/3 = 4 or fewer points 3/3 = 0 points What this does is keeps certain songs from completely messing up the scores. For instance, if a player has 30 points at round 8, then gains 650 from a song like BB Revenge, everyone's scores would be skewed. The winner of each division will be the player with the highest score. Prizes will be determined based on how many donations I receive, starting with 50,000 from me, so lets make this pot as big as possible.
