Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Rushy's old file was uploaded instead of mine for some reason. I sent my file to Tass again, so that should be fixed soon.
P.S. I'm interested to know what you think of my Rain file... |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Rage Template seems to be a bit early. If I hit the doubles in the break in the middle with the kicks, I'd wind up getting late goods.

I agree about the Holy Orders part, but I don't know about Tell v2. That song is just, blah. :l

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I don't like Winter Wind at all, not only are the steps just pure dump, but I know the piece at its original speed, and I believe someone sped this up just to get a hard file...

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
the great thing about keybeat is that I no longer have to bitch about the sh*t files on ffr

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I didn't speed up the midi at all, and that tempo is only a teensy bit faster than performance tempo. Either way, it's still slower than chopin's intended tempo, so don't complain. I should've sped it up to that.

And also, why hasn't synth's files been removed yet, somebody should make onsync easy songs and remove synth's offsync crap (No offense)

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
No offence but you should have been chosen better performance/MIDI on MW and WWE, Xander. I thought they are a bit too mechanical and lacks inflections, effects, expressions, etc.

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
I just picked up the sheet music, and I am astonished that this file is at the actual speed at it was written, =69, i.e. 138 bpm 24ths, which is about exactly this.
And that also means you shouldn't have sped it up, thankfully

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
Yeah, sorry about the midi's. With WWE, I was trying to stay with Tass' wishes, and not just using the best sound I could find. Same actually goes for sonata quasi as well, both are by the same midiist.
Mephisto waltz was my first attempt at actually making a midi, and I hadn't figured out all the ways to contour it and make it sound relatively human yet. sorry = / |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
kk but making music for your own file is nice anyways.
then do you want ingame credit for it (like Franz Liszt / Xandertrax)? |

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
just so you know the correct syntax would be something along the lines of
Franz Liszt arr. Xandertrax

Re: Ingame Songs/Stepfiles Discussion Thread
the 4ths part at the end of rage template proves that the file is offsync, also wtf, holy orders has the worst patterns ever, still fun, btw wtv
