Honestly, though, it gets a little tiring when an argument is dismissed as biased for using facts/reason/consistency

Re: United States presidential election, 2012
historically, conservative states' polls are usually closed first - these exit poll projections, though probably accurate, don't mean much at this time
I just hope NYC and NJ's voting process/voter turnout wasn't affected in any way by hurricane Sandy. |

Re: United States presidential election, 2012
It's South Carolina, though - a historically red state. Just focus on Florida and Ohio. They only had an estimated 1% of the vote in.

Re: United States presidential election, 2012
i just wrote a response in quick reply and then accidentally clicked another page and lost it all DAMN but here is the recreation
you don't have to be wealthy to want to vote repub, thats a p dumb stereotype imo but, i'm pro R-dawg for plenty of reasons. i don't like where the country is currently headed under obama. $16 trill in debt and climbing, with he not being able to pass his own budget in congress. i'm hoping Romney can bridge his own success in the private sector to successful and rapid growth of the economy. Obama tried, couldn't bring down unemployment as much as promised. he can't stop borrowing and spending either. at this rate it seems like we'll be looking alot like Greece. i also don't like Obamacare. rushing and pushing a shady 1,300+ page bill up congress' butthole that was almost completely repealed later was just stupid. there's no way it's not going to increase the deficit. I like how Romney wants to repeal it ASAP. there was good intention behind the healthcare bill, but federal coverage isnt the way to go for us americans. i dont know exactly what Romney wants to do (maybe mandate for states to adopt their own insurance programs like his in Mass.? idk) i can't remember. i would've tackled the healthcare crisis through difference methods, probably through Tort reform to help protect doctors against menial, exploitative malpractice suits, which would encourage them to lower their costs. just an idea. i like how Romney has bipartisan experience. Obama isn't willing to work with republicans in congress and vice versa. being a successful GOP gov in a hardcore blue state makes you sound pretty good. i like how Romney is adamant about keeping the military strong (#Horses&BayonetzZz), and our global presence stronger. if planet earth was an action game, i'd want to be a part of the country that's OP. those are some main reasons i'll choose Romney over Obama anyday. him being a social conservative too does appeal to me, but for this election, it doesn't weigh heavily on why i voted the way i did. he and i are also from the same faith, and i know what his priorities in life are and how he raises a successful family. so yeah brb going to the student center to watch the results

Huffington Post has it at 65/67 in favor of Romney, FOX says 78/88, also in favor of Romney.

Re: United States presidential election, 2012
You may as well give California to Obama. You should only be focusing on swing states like Ohio - which the president has a pretty large margin in (est. 20% vote in). I'd also keep my eye close on Florida and Virginia.

Re: United States presidential election, 2012
Exactly, focus on swing states that net a lot of electoral votes.
(Florida being the "biggest") |
