If people haven't read my random thoughts lately, me and my band have had an excellent opportunity. My new friend's dad has a recording studio downtown Preston which he will be recording our stuff for FREE! There is more information about it here and here.

I have come to ask a question and an offer.

I am currently working on my band website, and we will have them uploaded there to download, but for a price. 99 cents per song, or $3.99 dollars for the full 4-track (+1 bonus). When everything is up and running, I would want someone to step one of our songs! I know it would not be fair to ask someone to step it and pay for the song..so I have a little deal. Anyone who promises to step one of the songs, I will send you the song through PM's. This is a special thing and I trust anyone not to leak it anywhere. If it happens, oh well. Anyone who successfully steps one of my songs for FFR, will get 20 dollars sent to their Paypal, or through mail if you don't have Paypal (give me your address).

That was my offer. I think it's pretty fair, am I right? I expect my 4-track to be completed by the end of June (Artwork and everything). I'm giving this offer now to give people to think about it.

Next, is my question. Me and my band have covered a song...to use that song in FFR, would I need to get permission from the band that originally made it? If I don't need to get permission, I can really see the song in FFR. I have changed it enough, in my opinion. Solo is about 2 minutes long, and it's 7:34 minutes long, unlike the original which is 5:03(?) minutes long.
