Minecraft
If you don't play it, you really should. For the uninformed: Minecraft is a building and crafting game that pits you against a generated world where everything at night is out to get you. It's addictive, it's fun, and it arguably the best sandbox game I've ever played. I've been in the process of building a tunnel system. It nearly takes seven minutes to traverse the damn thing. |

Re: Minecraft
Multiplayer is even more fun, since everything at night isn't out to get you! Also you can't die from falling or lava, and RUNECRAFT.
When I face Minecraft vs. study for midterms dilemma, Minecraft is always a CLEAR WINNER! |

Re: Minecraft
This sounds interesting, but the game clearly sounds like a GPA killer. I'll proobably steer clear from this until I find a decent amount of time. O.o

Re: Minecraft
doesn't have to be what it sounds like
KBO used to have a really cool server up (we're repairing it right now), and during that time we chilled there without really interfering with too much time. you spend as much time on it as you want really but if you buy the game and play the single-player version, that's a different story altogether, and it'll definitely destroys hours and hours of your time each day

it's not that at all if you're playing on private sandbox multiplayer servers

Re: Minecraft
no don't play this game it wrecks your life and listening to people talk about minecraft is quite possibly the most mindnumbing thing in the world and people who play minecraft want to talk about it constantly
"hey dude did you see the fortress i built?" "no dude where is it?" "okay well go north from the river until the cliff and then like go east for 3 minutes and then start going north until you see a tree and then go west for about a minute." .... "OH DUDE YOUR FORTRESS IS SICK!" "yeah dude it's inspiried by the ice tower from Oblivion!"

Re: Minecraft
Minecraft is pretty awesome. I was impressed by the fact that a group of Bionerds created a replica of Rapture and Columbia. And griefing is for cool kids only.

Re: Minecraft
I don't know, every screenshot and video I see of this game looks incredibly unappealing. I can't see how this can be fun at all.
I think it would be more fun to build houses in sims 3. |
