Right now, I think the FFR staff is swamped with projects. They are currently working on 3rd Style, R2B2, Profiles, Resonance, Simfiles, and things in general. I can see it happening in the future though.

Instead of adding 'TK' or 'TS' to the front of our names to show you are in a clan, It could be like the custom titles. ^_^ With the name of your clan right below your name. Lol, I have no idea how any of these ideas will be put on here, I just like them. I am so excited for 3rd style.

i've said from the very beginning... teams are retarded. they are just one more way for people to segregate others. one group of cool kids on the internets not allowing others into their group.

we're all nerds here... no reason to seperate them.



with that said... Synth has said previously that he'd try someone make teams official. And I continue my stance of hating teams with a passion. They serve no purpose. FFR is a 1-person game, and 1-on-1 when played against someone else. No need for teams.

That's pretty harsh, Tass. Although, I'm not exactly sure where I stand on this issue, but it's definitely not as high of a priority on my list as other features, such as speed mods, but I think a lot more highly of it than the poster above me does.

i understand you are concerned about segregation tass but when you create a great enough expansion of teams the more stretched out the groups become the more evened out abilities will become.
that will cause less problems with people fighting each other over something like that.
and i would completely understand if it is not too high on your "things to do list" i just beg you that you take this idea into consideration and really think about it. nearly all of the most popular online games permit group play together.
people dont just want to play by themselves and talk about it to others, they want others to be there and experience it with them, they want to be talking to their friends later and be able to say "did you see what he pulled off with that challenge?" they dont want to have to explain everything to friends they want to be able to talk to each other about what they saw when those three were competing for first place.
tass all that i ask from you is to please take this thought into consideration. for one second put aside the possibility of segregation and think about what this could do for ffr and think about how much it could improve the game play of it.
please take this up with the other staff members, it doesnt matter when, it could be in the year 2008 for all i care, just at least take this idea into consideration as a whole and discuss this with each other and decide what it could do for the site and its members.
i will respect your decision no matter what.
this is not my site and i cannot tell you what to do with it.

i understand perfectly but in this game its not like there gonna make it so only certain people can join a team like you said were all nerds hear and if you ask me it sounds like someone has a bad past.....its better to forget if that is the case
by the way normal tournaments would be a one on one but some people like working in groups for a more social envolvment

I am with Tass on this one. FFR is not a team game. Clans in FFR would be completely useless.

What if you could make it so that clans were a part of ffr but not such a big thing? you could have clan profiles and rankings and even clan on clan matches but not focus on it too much. Make it the same as it is now but if you are playing against another clan member your clan rank goes up or down as well as ur mp level.

So you have your mp level for against everyone, and clan level for against other clan people.

That way people who don't wanna do the teams don't have to and it doesn't affect them and people who wanna do teams can.
