Id say Id be willing to play online some, but no one I know is on line. Gamer tag is G l o r n e without the spaces since people always get it wrong.

Re: Halo 3 ODST
So, I decided to go out and drop for this today.
Pretty cool idea, but then again it's still halo... I like the way that the campaign is progressing. I haven't tried firefight yet, so I can't comment but it will probably be a nice change of pace from the usual crap. Also, when I found out that the DLC maps were added I was very happy, as I would normally have just passed on those. Amazing game, no. Fun to play, yeah. Fun with friends, probably the best way to play this. |

Does the story have any point yet?

Re: Halo 3 ODST
I can give you the Halo story, just from watching my brother play. Also, ODST has a pretty alright story, but the sticking point is the characters. If you've ever seen Firefly, then transplant 3 of the important characters into leading roles and you have one solid reason to buy ODST.

Re: Halo 3 ODST
I've wanted this game since I stumbled upon the teaser trailer last year, I was going to pre-order it but spent all my birthday money buying Rock Band 2 instead, thankfully I'll be getting it next week so I'll be pretty happy.

Re: Halo 3 ODST
Mal, Jayne and Wash are all central characters, although they're renamed Buck, Duch, and Mickey. They still retain their personalities - Mickey is happy go lucky and quips all the time, Duch is an explosives expert, and Buck just kicks ass. All the time.
