I don't really know if we have much to offer you sensei :/
It's less the score submissions and more you're too good kinda deal

Seeing as you're D7 I dunno it'd be for the better to try to have another difficulty range above the current top



Credits for the last few weeks of the old season have been paid out (from me but w/e)
Funding is uncertain for the future but we're figuring out something in terms of potential official sponsorship (aka maybe event tokens ! and/or credits ofc)

I dunno if you saw the changes but you're in the 74-77 block, and will play the song in that range as well as the 69-73 song and the 78-82 song, at least for the next few weeks
You can submit scores for songs in any range you like as we have the room on the sheet, though only the above 3 will count for your competition stuff

Check the sheet (the new link in the OP and in the above post, 7.8/10 would recommend bookmarking if you did that with the old sheet), it'll answer all of these questions

Song selections won't change at all, there'll be one per range
I used p much the same ranges as before, except now they're not grouped in threes for each division

As for the spaces in the sheet where scores will be recorded: for each person (each row), the columns are shaded almost-white for the 3 blocks that will be judged competitively, all of the other columns are grey (but can still be filled in with ghost scores)
Looking at the sheet, we have 3 to 5 people in each range except for 65-68 which has 2 people. Mostly a good balance

(I'll say right now to everyone on the high side of their ranges and those of you who have had a generally negative outlook on their self-improvement: there's literally 0 benefit to not try to improve your skill rating past the end of your range, the entire point of the rivalry is to boost and there aren't any real rewards at stake to sandbag for. Do as best as you can, as skill is the only permanent thing in this kind of game, everything else is just events that are held to mark your progress along the way)

Glad to finally kick things off!

The time I get around to posting each week will vary but generally should be between 2-8pm. Such a wide range, I know, but continuing this on into the fall I have to base it around my schedule for the semester, which for Monday involves a class, music lessons, possible sports practice, and astro research.

For a general sense of what I do for each week, I'll go through and play a bunch of songs in each range to get an idea for each file's style, and try to provide a good mix of styles and lengths to each range that people are playing. This takes a bit of decision-making but I hope you guys enjoy the variety I try to create I also try to avoid some notorious files, and at least a few of the upper ranges are gonna be a bit limiting later on due to that :/

Anyways, here's the first list! On the spreadsheet, you'll see your skill rating next to your name. Following the row will be some grey and white cells, the 3 columns in white are the main files you'll be judged on. The other people with white cells in the same column are the people you'll be competing with for that difficulty range. Feel free to play the other songs anyways and show off your scores here if you'd like!

Note: I did slightly shift the lower ranges a bit to balance it more, the only person it affected was benny, please take notice (unless you'd like to stick with the higher range, especially with the coincidence that your best score on the 66-69 song haha)

You need like 1 more improvement to hit 83 yeah lol
If you wanna have the 83-86 block as your center go right ahead, you're probably in that generic skill range for the most part

The higher range is fine for me, I like playing songs up to difficulty 69.
