Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
A WoW thread done without any idiotness.
I'm really digging my Blood Elf warlock (I play on Lightning's Blade) and now that Locks are great in PVP I can't wait to get him to a higher level. Plus the BE starting area is INTENSE and awesome. Anyone else play?

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
I've been wanting to play World of Warcraft ever since that South Park episode. But no, not yet.

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
Made a Mage. He's 34 now. He's awesome and burns stuff.
Went Enchanting. Requires blacksmith friends. Play on a server where I'm the only person. Made a Druid. He's a miner and a blacksmither. Took me several days to mine the ores and level blacksmithing. All for a stupid silver rod for my enchanting. Fun thing is I'll have to do it again for the gold rod =/ I also solo'd a few instances. Fun. Not terribly rewarding. I consider WoW to be more fun single-player than multiplayer, personally. I like to think of it as what Oblivion should have been, so that's how I treat it. Besides, 10x exp, 100x drop, and 100x gold never hurt anyone, right? >_> |

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
You could have always just bought the silver rod from the AH instead of leveling an alt, unless of course you WANTED to level an alt. I have a blood elf rogue, but I only got him to level 13, because I'd rather level my warlock. I also have a 60 mage, but I don't like him anymore, I basically just play my warlock who's a 50 Orc atm >_>
But anyway..yea, I play. I'm on Eredar cause all my RL friends play there. |

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
SEE THAT'S THE PROBLEM. ACRONYMS.
AH? I'll assume you mean auction house. In which case... no I couldn't. I am the only person on my server, because I use a private server. $15 a month is a lot of money. I'd play on the official servers if I had to pay a flat rate to own the game and no rate to play it. |

Bah...I still hate it that Blizzard has nerfed the holy-healing priests...I hope they will fix the tallents soon, so I can be a happy healer again :3

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
See, this is why you get your friends to play WoW. We all decided to start our characters on the same server and play different jobs and professions. So that way, we can help each other with what we do.
We always have an instant group when we're all on. We always have the materials we need for our professions. Not only that, when rolling for equipment, we have no loser that tries to ninja it. Even if it's soulbound. But yes, WoW was designed to be both single and multiplayer. You can play it either way! ~Tsugomaru |

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
Yeah. I've always preferred single-player games.
But WoW is not designed to be single player. Somewhere down the road you have to ask for help from other players. This is obvious because most professions require you to get assistance from other professions. Enchanting requires blacksmithing for some things. Blacksmithing requires Alchemy for some things. And I haven't gone further down the chain. And instances are really hard alone. Generally speaking, I can't kill elites one-on-one that aren't 10 levels lower than I am. |

Such a liar. It's only been out since Tuesday. NO WAY you could have gained that many high levels in that amount of time.

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
There's 3 68's on my server, those are the 3 highest levels so far. Couple 67's as well. It's definitly possible for him to be 64. The first level 70 was on a french server. He got the game at midnight on Tuesday and he dinged 70 28 hours later, on Wednesday at 4am. His guild was in beta and they planned out everything step by step and mostly did everything AoE. First 70 in the world. There's an interview about him somewhere on the web. Theres also a 46 BE pally on my server....crazy.

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
I'm not sure if they did. Blizzard said that getting from level 60-70 will take you about as long as it takes to get from 1-60. I think there are some people who know how to do that in 3-4 days.

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
They didnt say that it was just a general rumor. 60-70 is like 45-60.
Not even that if you plan it all out. |

Re: Burning Crusade/World of Warcraft
Most of the closet WoW players on FFR know my info already, but I have a 60 Night Elf Rogue on Norgannon and a 30 Undead Mage on Dalvengyr. Getting timecard and/or BC this weekend FINALLY.
