American Candy
More and more American Candy shops are opening up here, but srsly, everything I've brought so far has been horrible (and really pricey)
Please, Americans, what "sweets" of yours are good? I've tried and disliked: Hershey's, Friut Loops, Tootsie Pops, anything Peanut Butter, Pretzels... that I can remember. I like Nerds, Lucy Charms, Pop Tarts and stuff from memory. Halp me please, what is good? And drinks, too. |

'Sweets' I eat,
M&Ms Reese's Peanut Butter Cups KitKats Snickers Twix Three Musketeers (once in awhile) Fruit Roll Ups ~ Fruit by the Foot Gushers Airheads Pop Rocks Jolly Ranchers All I can think of at the moment. But I stick with the common flavors for each of the fruity sweets (cherry or strawberry.) |

Re: American Candy
We do get things like, M&M's, Snickers and Twix here (although we only have three choices of M&M's and one choice of Twix and Snickers as standard)
I did try a drink too, but I cant remember what it was, I'm sure it was a completely Yellow can and it was disgusting lol. It cost £1.50 too. |

Re: American Candy
How in the world can someone not like Hershey's chocolate ?_?
And go for Twix, M&M's, 100 Grands, Milky Way, just about anything with caramel.

Re: American Candy
Actually, I've heard that Hershey's is extremely unpopular in the UK and nearby nations, and how they're always full on the shelves in grocery stores and the like.

Re: American Candy
Bluearrowll is right. It's because we have Cadbury's which is made with real milk ("Glass and a half") and to a lot of people here they think Hershey's is very sugary rather than Chocolate milky like Cadbury's products.
We have Kit Kats, too :P I love Kit Kat Chunkys! (And Milky Ways nom) Last edited by welsh_girl; 03-27-2012 at 03:49 AM.. |

I don't know how nobody has said Skittles yet unless I missed it. I also hate chocolate so I can't help much with chocolate stuff.

As a fellow UK denizen here, the only things I've found which are really worthwhile (other than poptarts) are Jolly Ranchers, Marshmallow Fluff, and Nerdz.
I'm not a big fan of your chocolate... If you Americans get a chance to get a bar of UK chocolate (Cadburys or Galaxy specifically), give it a go! Much milkier Also, I TOTALLY want to order some Jolly Ranchers from Amazon. Shipping = boo :< |

I honestly don't really eat anything chocolate that's made in the US anymore...except Reese's Cups. Everything else just doesn't taste as good :/

Am I the only one who noticed he spelled Lucky as Lucy? But yeah, Cadbury's all the way.
