Re: Xoon Legacy Pack Released
I should have some time this weekend to fully play through the pack and give some thoughts. But just from playing a few, I can already tell I'm gonna like it. Expect something this weekend.

Re: Xoon Legacy Pack Released
hey cool pack. i really liked it overall. just played through 95% of it on 1.0 so here are some random, unorganized thoughts. mostly things that bothered me because they're what i remember more.
both of the blurk files seemed a bit offsync if i'm not mistaken, except skalman seemed to get back onsync halfway through. Axolotl Throttle was absurdly fun considering its difficulty. there were a couple of files like Boss Battle where there are extended sequences of longjacks and interesting glut patterns making up the meat of the file, but then you'd also have chunks of smooth, boring JS in sections where you could easily justify more jacky stuff with the percussion or main melody or whatever. it's not like what's there is objectively wrong or anything (still a sick file), but i think that it would have been cooler and more consistent with more liberal jack usage. Hand in the Fire has really bad difficulty curve issues and just unfun jack transitioning in general. i think this was the only file that i was actually strongly tempted to quit out on. Hydrangea is incredibly fun and varied and definitely my favorite file of the pack. come on seriously that long trill thing in I Feel Fine... Jashin no Konrei made me sad because of the audio quality and because i thought the layering could have been much harsher due to the intensity of the song, but it was a fairly fun file regardless. Off Limits could have maybe been cut imo just because music like that tends to feel monotonous after a while. if not that, i think that the one particularly gay right hand biased section in the second half could have been reworked to be less of an obnoxious spike. That said, it was still a really fun file to try to MA for me. in r u still Xxxx oni this right hand transition into the 64th burst is really gay and it is the only thing that made me mad in this otherwise pretty cool file. a lot of my issues with the files i didn't care for that much involve difficulty spiking or isolated gay burst patterning, but in most cases it wasn't bad enough to ruin the file for me. other files that stuck out to me as being particularly enjoyable: Area A Constant Motion Eyeless Magical Sanctuary Sengoku HOP Visions why would you order the files in the pack folder by simartist name rather than song name jesus christ aaaaaaaaaa Last edited by Skwid1; 02-7-2017 at 12:53 AM.. Re: Xoon Legacy Pack Released
pack has giving me many enjoys especially the most streammy files, best of them soo far:
area A/10 hand in the fire, even tought its kind of a annoying file it was still super enjoyable/challenging Hydrangea !!! bird battle giratina (love this kind of files) magical sanctuay was an enjoy for the most part then not then an ejoy again lost wingat !!! this flows sooo welll omg eyeles, just making an enjoyable chart without cutting this song is worth much praise to me one MC, one delay, not zappa/10 im always amazed in how you make enjoyable files/patterns from this kind of songs but yeah, the pack is full of quality, from easy to harder files, will play this for a long long time Off Limits https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koNMRg8aawI /10

Re: Xoon Legacy Pack Released
Sorry not sorry for the gay jump jacks on Hand in the Fire. Although I did that to match the intensity of the songs (And also stops because I've been experimenting with stops heh).
Anyhow from what I've played: Innocent: Felt a tad dull for me tbh, although I did not expect a nightcore version of this wat The Cat with 2 Heads: Ska/10 beautiful The other OpKiller Nightcore file: Choked a AAA run rip. Fun file. I feel Fine: I got meme'd on 1.3 Hand in the Fire: Not sorry for the gay jumpjacks Skwidward :U Love Is Over: Probably my best file to date in terms of released files...close to Yunomi and My Party tbh... Skalman Stage: Beautiful. Anyhow, will play more oops
