Please help me
Can someone please help me out? Im going insane looking for the answer for it and nobody can give me a stright up answer. Does anyone know how to adjust the emergency brake on a 1998 Ford Mustang? Im pretty sure you can only do it underneath the car. Please help.

I have a '96 Mustang, so I probably should know, but I don't. Sorry. Try to google the manual (I think you can).

I have been looking like every where on how to adjust it. And i cant find it anywhere. I couldnt find no guide on how to adjust a 1998 mustang in particular.

Pretty fool proof from what I can tell. If you can't adjust it from reading that, you're either incompetent or you should take it to a mechanic.

Ok thanks ill try and take a look at that. I dont know if it'll be the same though because my car is a stick shift(or manual transmission car). So i'll check it tomorrow. I dont want to bring it to a mechanic because they'll probably charge me a lot for no apparent reason. I just need to adjust the emergency brake that's all;/
Edit: Like it doesnt work at all right now. Its kinda funny actually. You can pull it and nothing will happen. So it's really loose or something. Last edited by Zipsnine; 10-22-2009 at 09:53 PM.. |
