I still think Obama is giving himself too much credit for all of this, it's not like he went there and shot Osama in the face or anything, he didn't do half the work. |

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead.
Where did I say this?
Also, he would have killed himself. He was cornered with a gun. Nowhere to run. He could either: A) Shoot his way out and hope to escape B) Get shot in crossfire and die C) Realize he was outnumbered without getting hit and shoot himself, because he's smarter than to give himself up torture Quote:

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead.
Uhh didn't he use his wife as sort of a human shield to protect himself like Fidel Castro did in Black ops? That makes a lot of sense considering he was shot in the eye. I was just wanted to clarify this?

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead.
I'm glad they stopped him. If they could have taken him alive it would have been better. They did what they could. I'm not chanting USA though, just saying it's a step in the right direction

But, by the same logic, Osama didn't fly the planes during 911. He didn't do half the work...! Which of course brings up the underlying issue; Al-Qaeda is still there, and can continue to function largely without the existence of Bin Laden. Also, he has to be dead. The government would never risk him being alive and making this kind of announcement. Imagine what Osama would do when he heard? Something as simple as a video announcing the fact he is still alive would cripple the credibility of our government, not to mention piss off Al-Qaeda.

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead.
But all Obama did was say that the U.S was involved in an operation that killed Osama. He wasn't specifically stating that he did anything.

After thousands of people died, we spent however many tax dollars just to increase the death count by one. So yeah, a little revenge and a false sense of national security is a total waste in my opinion. You should read Stranger in a Strange Place. Although, that celebration calls for different context.

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead.
I didnt say he didn't deserved to be punished for what he did. There needed to be a punishement. In this case he had to be shot down since there was no way of capturing him in order to enact said punishement.
Where I have a problem is when you guys yells "U.S.A." really loud like you were a group of uncivilized retards. It's barbaric and serves no purpose. From what you guys say, he deserves to suffer like no one has ever suffered ever since the beginning of time. You call that justice. I call that desecration of human rights. It's simple to understand that if you exclude even a single person from these rights, than the whole thing collapses. He needed to face the consequences for his acts and he did, but you guys would have been ready to burn him at the stakes or God knows what else. This is unrational and despicable. and yes I do think it's sickening to celebrate the death of someone. For sure, we can be relieved that things will be better without someone, but to go so far as to be happy from someone death only because of pure hatred is pathetic. Also, if we were to put aside emotions, culture and all that shit for an instant. I just want you guys to realize that the bombing in Japan during WWII caused WAY more casualties than 9/11. So I think that if everyone had the same mentality as the one you've showed Necrophage, you guys would be in deep shit right now. Last edited by Artic_counter; 05-3-2011 at 01:31 PM.. |

Re: Osama Bin Laden dead.
It's sad to see that this whole 9/11 crap is such a giant blur to the public. This just adds to the already large blur of lies and truth.
