Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 2
The 24th trill with the jump in it used to be a one hand trill. I remember trilling it before it was changed, and I had a very unpleasant feeling in my ring finger every time. Not surprisingly it was changed to utilize both hands. In other words: I tried one hand trilling a 6-note 198 BPM 32nd trill in Stepmania and while I did AAA it a few times, every time I trilled that fast I got a concerning pain in my ring finger.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 2
I get what you mean, and after a certain speed (while it may vary for others) one-hand trilling gets uncomfortable to where it causes strain because it's basically doing alternating jacks on the same hand, if that makes sense. At least in the chart it wasn't too bad -- as i typed this i felt a sharp pain between my thumb and index finger lol
i'm satisfied with 4g after just 2 full plays edit: i see Rob going for that sneaky AAA gogogo Last edited by samurai7694; 07-8-2016 at 11:33 PM.. Reason: because i can lol @ you reading this |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 2
fuck badman stop being so damn good x.x But yeah you're probably right. D5 has the easiest song this round without a doubt. D6 isn't too bad either, but all the others are super technical.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 2
It feels really understepped to me for a D6 song. Almost nothing going on until 3/4 into it and even then it's not that bad.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 2
So uhh... anyone got tips on how to get better at d2's song? Because that's basically a giant bundle of all of the things that I'm worst at in this game rolled into one. ;~;

Then it's the perfect thing for you to practice on. When you get tired/mindblocked on it, find other songs with similar speeds/patterns and do those. It's the fastest way to both rage and overall improvement.

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 2
flash is having a seizure and although usually I can sometimes play through that on structurally simplistic stuff (like nuts for example), can't do it for technical scintill poop
maybe 2moro (or maybe not because I don't think the cutoff is going to be hilariously tight) also holy fuck rest in fucking rip D3 |

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
tfw you do better on round 3's file than round 1 and 2
I don't think I can improve anymore on this though because my nerves get to me and I split jumps like crazy

Re: 11th Official Tournament - Round 3
This will probably have more AAAs than round 1 and round 2.
The reason has to do with every patterns being possible to jumptrill. Last edited by Hakulyte; 07-9-2016 at 01:24 AM.. |
