Somewhere, but not here

R.I.P dad (1962-2017)
I think I've kept this in long enough tbh but because I'm going back into work tomorrow I'll just let it out
Some of you know (if you're on the tgb discord) but for those who don't, my father died of a massive heart attack on June 20th. It's been a complete rollercoaster of emotions and stress between grievance and supporting my family and I've hit a point where I need a support wall as well to go forward. I don't know very many details because my mother and brother aren't ready to talk about it but from what I've gathered the heart attack started at about 7:15am and my brother was told to call 911 and he had to give CPR to my dad. I was on the way home from work not knowing any of this happened so I walked home from work as usual and saw 2 ambulances only driveway... So naturally I panicked and ran into the house to my mom and brother in tears and my grandmother in tears as well. My mum goes to the hospital with a neighbor who said "k no you're not driving I'm taking you" and came back about 45 minutes later to give the news that my dad officially passed away. So the last 2 and a half weeks for me have been an absolute train wreck of emotions and feelings on top of renovations so I'm looking to you guys for a little bit of support! Thanks for reading my rant<3 |

You've been incredibly strong headed despite everything going on Shadow, an inspiring show of strength. May he rest in peace...

I was upset when I heard the news, I'm so glad you're in a place that cared and was there when you needed it most, the amount of love and concern shown for you and your family was heart-warming.
Was there during the storm and here to help with any proverbial aftermath. Just because time has gone on doesn't make any of the aid extended to you any less willing to succour. You know where to find me if you wanna talk, look after yourself bro <3 Last edited by Tia-; 07-8-2017 at 08:02 PM.. |

I'm so sorry about your loss, bro. I know we've never really talked, but feel free to shoot me a message if you ever need someone to talk to. You and your family will be in my thoughts. <3

Holy shit I can't thank all of you enough for the love and support. July 25th is my dad's birthday so I'm taking that off to be with the family. Everyone is doing okay so far for now. We just need to take it one day at a time
You guys are the best, thank you so much |
