Re: League of Legends
the last 10 games in a row on my smurfs have been, at the very least, decent games.
however, the first few levels (levels 1-5) the extremes are very common. you either get complete newbies or level 30 smurfs. just get through those first levels and you're good Quote:
or of course, we can go with the alternative you suggested. play level 30 games where you try to take on a leadership role, only to have people not listen to you because they're too stuck and think they don't need to follow the advice of others. then when someone feeds slightly they get frustrated and mad and quit immediately

Re: League of Legends
So.... in a game that I hyper-carried as Ezreal, I actually had the worst duels of my life against another Ezreal. We were both in mid, but he had a level advantage on me because we went for a team gank against top lane - which was successful, as Renekton died immediately and Zilean found it would be better to execute himself while Renekton was destroyed. Ezreal picked up a kill as our Sion walked directly across mid lane, so there was his advantage.
Our duels... were just the worst. We couldn't hit each other with our Qs or Ws. We jumped outside of each other's E range simultaneously, then auto-attacked each other for a while, then stood there and ulted each other. Ignite gave me the advantage in the fights >.> Anyone on my team that watched our duels were absolutely dumbfounded by what happened. |

Re: League of Legends
This is going to sound bad (having taken over 1200 games to realize it existed), but...
I just discovered smart casting. I love it so much. |

Re: League of Legends
^Yup. I like the new items. They look perty kewl.
Edit: I wanted to see people's opinions on Tiamat. I like to rush two of em early with gangplank for some lolfarming and pushing. I really rarely see other players ever pick it up. I find it's extremely powerful, why don't more people get it? Last edited by MaxGhost; 05-9-2011 at 06:51 PM.. |

Re: League of Legends
tiamat is difficult to use effectively, because it assumes that everyone is within range of your attack, and you also have to be careful with your timing and positioning
excluding situations where the enemies bunch together like idiots, tiamats give you very little survivability and very little raw damage, making it not worth getting except for special situations that call for it

Re: League of Legends
+50dmg for ~2000 along with some much needed regen seems like a pretty good deal to me.

Re: League of Legends
tiamat is a tier 2 damage item that offers a pathetic unique passive and in a game where the item setup for the majority of games at higher level = 2 damage items 2 defensive items and boots (cuz u probably wont get to item 6 and even then it'll probably be a defensive) there's just no inventory space to waste on it
even if u went balls deep dps build u can get better shit that's actually just as good as a tiamat even while you're building it still like pretty much anything a bf sword builds into so basically why waste an inventory slot on a tiamat when u can go: bloodthirster black cleaver phantom dancer trinity infinedge zerk greaves not to mention in high level play your first item choices are critical because they dictate your value during the first couple team fights/skirmishes which in turn pretty much decides the rest of the game and if u build a tiamat ur pretty much just ****ing worthless tl;dr t2 items are shit and tiamat even more so because it lacks a decent passive and per point of gold it gives you less offensive power than any other t2 item the only argument u can make for tiamat is twitch because of his ult thats it |

Re: League of Legends
honestly, with a ton of people using vlad and rumble (especially rumble) it's not worth it as much as it used to
gaining magic resist on the other hand seems hella useful the ap tenacity item looks like an incredible waste of space

Lvl 24, and nah they were ok. I just pulled off some lulz escapes with my Q. I would chase them into their base then invis over the wall to get out.

Got a couple of sweet games yesterday with Blitzclank. We're doing premades and I ALWAYS (Read always) play him. He's so diverse and can change the tide of the game from standstill/losing to a win.

21-9 with Jax. I turned around a 4v5 game to win it
I was 2-5 at a certain point and I started farming aggressively and turned it around big time. Super fun game. I still think Kassadin is UP, I never see him do good in a game. |
