I saw a little kid trying to so an 8 on ITG

Today at the local gaming place, there were two kids, about six or seven. The wanted to play ITG, so they started with novice songs. One of the kids, who just barely passed, felt confident he could do a hard 8 the next round. When I saw the song the kid selected, I was thinking "Man, I can't even do 8s. What makes this kid think he can?" So, the kid tried to do the 8, and he lost in about five seconds. The thing is even after his meter depleted, he was still trying really hard to do it.

People don't realize the insane skill jump between difficulty levels. Hell, the jump from 1s to 3s is pretty big when you think of it.

I know I didn't realize this the first time I played. After doing okay on light I was all confident and tried heavy. That didn't turn out well :P

Um...age isn't a significant factor in this kind of thing (DDR,FFR,the likes). Besides stamina, anyone can be a god at rhythm games.

Little kids are so stubborn, and think they can do anything. Atleast I teach my little brother to play. He can play 13 footers, but took him too long. (2 years)

EDIT: Oh, by the way ITG newb, it's DOUBLE STAR, not DOUBLE A.

Actually it does, but that's not the point.
You can't get an AA on ITG.
It goes by stars/percents.

Haha, thats what I was about to say.

For some reason, I can never get much higher than 96% on ITG, no matter how easy the song.


Though I did get 98.xx% on Pandemonium Medium (insanely fun and easy)

It's just a way of telling our score. I'd rather say "Yea I AA'd that song" than go "YEA LOL I GOT A S- FULL GREAT COMBO 97.2323232%"

I hate it when those 7 year old kids beat you who are only like 4.5 feet tall. I was doing sumthing like exotic enthicity and it gathered a small crowed at a theme park while it was raining thus the large amount of people then the kid walks on and does PSM challange. It made me look so freaking retarted.
