TWG XXXI: Postgame
straightforward, because what i've now realized that by giving anyone a role, no matter how useless it is, is very strong if you have lax wolves. By claiming to be role X, only wolves want to argue that so its always good. If we had an all-green game where each player was given an individual name, then it'd be an autowin for humans... Wolves HAD to have tried and cause confusion on some of the roles that came out... I think it was a mistake for iggy to come out, but it is a close call either way.
Roles wolves: tass afro eb seer; talisman guardian: fish judas; wilkin saulus: kefit vampire: iggy

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
I hereby proclaim that I will not whine about my role for the next game, no matter what it is.
Also I discussed this at length with talisman and I want to know why I'm never seered (once in 28 games). I never die until way late into the game and I can be helpful when I want to be. :< EDIT: I'm pretty sure LD is getting an 11 game ban after this.

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
Let's make a note of how not killing Kilga in another one of these coin flip situations resulted in a win.
Thus, never lynch Kilga. Ever. |

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
This was a fun game. Shame I died though. I'd like to be annoyed at Fish for letting it happen, but we both agreed that keeping the seer alive was more important than keeping me alive - if I died, then Talis could just come out as alliance speaker, which is exactly what happened.
I'm quite happy to see that both of the lynchings I pushed for were wolves :>

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
Also, after I died I was quite terrified that one of either Talis or Fish was a wolf, and had done an exceedingly good job in fooling me. Fish dying the next night made me even more fearful that Talis was indeed a wolf.
Although if he had been, then I would have wanted him to pull off the win in the end just for the hilarity factor.

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
kefit I was actually scared fish might have been a wolf too after afro came back wolf (fish was the only person I told that I was seering afro). But I tested it by not telling anyone the next night, and guido still came back wolf.
Alright, this is how the game went for me: Night 1: First I was going for an alliance building seer, so I seered nforcer. Oops. However, this kill immediately made me think the wolves were smart, and I started thinking about tass immediately. Day 1: I'm with tps... there was something about tass that just didn't seem right. I can't put my finger on it, but it's there. Hence my "safety" vote. Night 2: Semi-pissed about nforcer and quite suspicious of tass (plus knowing that an alliance frontman would be available to me) I decided to start seering offensively, and picked tass. Night 3: Again seering offensively. I had a sneaking suspicion about afro the whole game and wanted to either rule him out or confirm him as a possibility. Night 4: Almost seered kilga, went with guido instead, oops. Still, I couldn't ignore that. Night 5: With the game still going I decide to stop seering offensively and start playing for attrition. I literally sent in a "seer eb" pm and then rescinded it with a "seer mini" one later. eb succeeded in making himself look like a very good framing target (helped by fish's continual posted suspicion of him), and I didn't want to mess up again like I had with guido. Day 5: oh rofl. Biggest post of semi-interconnected self-convincing bs in the history of twg. Sorry ddr... I thought the evidence really did fit together. Night 6: Seered ld, a blunder by eb not to frame ld, although I wouldn't have acted on it, as I was 99% sure at that point that ld was human anywas. Day 6: Never really suspected kilga at all, it was weird. I knew from the start I was going to end up voting eb, it was just a matter of considering and reconsidering and waiting to see if he would get on. So yeah, tass, I don't know what it is about you as a wolf, but it got you killed this game. Afro, it wasn't luck that got you seered, you just kinda seemed like you were hanging around in the background... I dunno. something seemed wrong. eb... the attitude and the phantoms and everything had me fooled for a while. The iggy kill was a bit bitchy though. |

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
I called eb at the beginning. Pre-game even. Actually I think roles were already distributed, so it was Night 1, but I have the convo with iggy. I totally called that.

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
I'm getting tired of being red and losing. We need to do a game where the humans actually have to try and not simply be guided by a blue or alliance head.

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
well its as i said.. wolves needed to be proactive... next game i'll either discuss with AP balancing issues, and jsut not paly, or hope he does the work and figures it out on his own, and then i will play.
Also, i liked how it looked with the beginning of each word caps'd

By the way, you guys ruined endgame.
It was set to go through in a really interesting way, but then you killed the exactly right people right away.

Re: TWG XXXI: Postgame
Your behavior this game was rather odd >_>
Seeing as I was dead, I didn't take time to go and analyze your past activity after your seering (as I did with Tass and Afro), so I dunno how warrented your lynching may have been.
