ffr for mobile...
so... yeah, thinking about it... between the new smart phones, the nintendo ds, and the psp... (and whatever other mobile communications, pda, and wifi gaming devices I have left out) there are a lot of people spending a lot of time online but without the ability to use the robust flash platform. ~ i'm posting this from my sprint smartphone~ there are a lot o people who you could interest in ffr if you created something that would work on these platforms. I know that I for one would subscribe to whatever service it was. perhaps it could b something java based? sadly my experience with programming languages is limeted to basic, and a little c- else I would try to create something... anyway, thanks for listening to my idea.

Re: ffr for mobile...
Okay... so, I've been doing some research, and a lot of the mobile web browsers support a pared down version of flash. So concievably you could take your current ffr code and simplify it to make if viewable by these browsers. another track would be to take the old ffr codes from previous versions of flash, and use them as base code. And I know that you are all very busy making the current ffr and r2 more awesome for us, so please do not feel pressured. I simply wished to share my findings. (if you do get something like that running, and beta testers- I will be happy to volenteer.) Even if I would have to subscribe to do so. (starving student) anyway... you guys are doing an amazing job.

YES. Put a song or two on it and you can show all of your friends, who will then sign up. More publicity!

We've had a thread like this before.
The idea was refused and immediately went nowhere. |

Re: ffr for mobile...
Hey... if they'd open the source for the older versions of ffr- or just send them to me... I would be willing to try something... I just don't have much experience in flash programming, but I am taking a class next semester (yeah, I doubt they'd give that out)
I dunno- I guess this idea is still doomed. |

If FFR ever bought out like.. a console sort of game of some sort.
