It might seem like Im coming across as a jerk when I say this, but Im really not trying to..

I played Neon-213 today, and saw how horrible the offset was. I hit it perfectly on the beat, and I could get steady goods and averages. If I can get a score like this without trying, somethings not right with the offset:

I hope youre joking, lol. Its not me or the keyboard. I can do another run and go with the notes instead of the beat and do better on it, but its no fun at all when youre playing notes that are offbeat and FORCING yourself to play offbeat to get a good PA.

So yes, the song has bad offset.

Your reaction time might be too fast, try playing with a higher speedmod.

I don't remember the sync of that song, but according to that ss steps are like 2 frames late?

what do you play on, 1.5x? it looks too slow to be 1.75, too fast to be 1.25.

Someone of your skill lvl couldent of hit all of them "perfectly"...

Btw, seemed perfectly fine to me, i got 4 goods.. I think i've only played this song like twice lol

When I remember playing it, the offset was correct. It just feels weird playing it because one of the main sounds falls on the up-beats (1/8 and 5/8). In other words, half a beat after the red downbeats. The file is synced correctly, you just might be listening to the wrong sound in the song.

Besides, I can't AAA an off-sync or off-beat song with this kind of difficulty if my life depended on it. But I AAA'd this on around my 6th try.

Never said I could hit them all perfectly, because the song is weird to me and it feels slightly lagged.

"Somebody of your skill level". Like I said, I can go with the actual notes, and do good, but its just not fun.

It's probably your PC/keyboard, as I notice the difference when switching. My computer/kb is fine; it's correct.

And to the people talking about keyboards. Did you see my second screenshot o.o? This is my good keyboard, and Ive tested many times the pros and cons of USB vs Serial keyboards, so Im well aware of that aspect.

I dunno, but I didn't see anything wrong with the stepping. Try playing the song again. Maybe it just started off sync.

nothing is wrong with this song. even if there was, it wouldn't be off enough to produce the effects shown in your 1st SS. it'd have to be a minimum of 2, if not 3-4, frames off to produce that. and it most certainly isn't.

perhaps something happened when you loaded it. try clearing your cache and reloading.

and I made the song lol

This is what I got hitting with the music. I gave up in the final stream and just played yellow notes on the beat and AAAed, so all the goods came in the beginning basically. I can't do streams by ear, I have to go by sight.

Seems fine. If it was off, it would be negligible because I don't feel the difference if it was off or not. Seems to be on beat for me (643-12-0-0-1).
