MrRubix, are you sure you can handle rounds so quick after each other even though its the first rounds?

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Round 4 Gaming Challenge The Fancy Pants Adventures: http://www.kongregate.com/games/DrNe...nts-adventures Race to the finish! Objective: Get the fastest time that you can in Fancy Pants (press t to activate the timer ingame). First place will be awarded 1000 points, with a 1% drop for each lower rank. Mental Challenge Now we're going to bump things up a notch and shake up the ranks. Solve the following 4 puzzles and games. Each is worth 250 points. Please PM me your solutions to question 1 and 2. Mentals 3 and 4 can be pasted in-thread. 1. The Chronosphere (located at the top) is a structure in a power grid that is currently low on power. It's currently hooked up to a series of power tunnels that are linked together by Power Carrier Orbs (PCO's). There are six Power Plants (the yellow structures) that generate power (Ubervolts) directly into certain PCO's, which then transfer the energy from PCO to PCO along the tunnels until it eventually reaches the Chronosphere (so a plant generating 4 Ubervolts, for example, will transfer that energy all the way to the Chronosphere, which will receive 4 Ubervolts from that plant). A Power Plant can generate anywhere from 1-6 Ubervolts, but no two Plants generate the same number of Ubervolts. However, there is a problem. The blue PCO's require the same "power pressure" (measured in Uberpwns) coming in from both sides (left and right) before it passes the total number of Ubervolts received up to the next structure. Uberpwns are calculated by multiplying the level of Ubervolts coming from a given source by the distance to that source. So for example, if the upper left Plant were generating 2 Ubervolts into its connecting PCO, then the blue PCO along that tunnel is three PCO's away and therefore receives 2 Ubervolts * 3 distance units = 6 Uberpwns from that Plant. An easy question to start off: How much power will the Chronosphere be receiving when it becomes operational? And, the harder question: Which Power Plants are generating what levels of Ubervolts? Both questions must be answered correctly to get credit for this problem. 2. Sound file of the Refrigerator Demon: http://www.mediafire.com/?pyuzazzya4d Something's terribly wrong, guys. I managed to record the voice of the demon living in my refrigerator, but I think there's more to his ranting and raving, but I don't know what... something hidden somewhere, somehow. Before you start, I should tell you that you do have some help. One day I found a note written by the demon: "167 through 175. Let the fingers do the walking, but let the ears do the thinking. Little darling, welcome to the show." PM me the answer -- what is the demon really trying to say? You should also briefly tell me what you did to solve this riddle (one sentence is all that's needed). 3. Compulse: http://armorgames.com/play/1150/compulse Go for the best score that you can (fewest arrowblocks used). You must beat all levels. Simple! Best score is 44. 4. Suppose there are three similar boxes. Box X contains X white balls and one black ball, where X= 1, 2, 3. Suppose I mix up the boxes and then pick one at random (you don't know which box is which, but I do. All you know is how many white/black balls are in Box 1, Box 2, and Box 3). Then I pick a ball at random from the box and show you the ball. It is white. I offer you a prize if you can guess correctly what box it came from (1, 2, or 3). Which box is the best one to choose, and what is the chance that that box is correct? Bayes might be able to help you here. FFR Challenge Each challenge has a maximum of 250 points. 1. Get the best score that you can on Straight to Video (Rock, Page 2) using the Blink Mod. You can just paste a screenshot for this one. 2. Play Wish (For FFR) (Dance2, Page 7) using the 1x speed mod. Provide a link to your replay for this challenge (make sure the Save box is checked just in case). 3. Play Z (Dance2, Page 4) and get the best score you can using the Reverse scroll mod. Provide a link to your replay for this challenge (make sure the Save box is checked just in case). 4. Get the best score you can on bbblow (Dance2, Page 1) using the Diagonal scroll mod (Hint: Remapping your keys may make this one easier). Provide a link to your replay for this challenge (make sure the Save box is checked just in case).

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
You could put the next 5 rounds up tomorrow...
Also, I fail at FFR. It's the only mode I am failing in.

MrRubix, how come in the first picture I had Question 3 in Mental Challenge correct, and in the second it shows as incorrect?

UPDATE MORE. XD!
Falling Into You--MAX boos That should be 1000 points for the FFR section now. And if my fifth mental was right, that's another 1000. But now, I work on FSF. =O |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
Manual correction (I had put your #4 as #3 so I switched it back to where it should be). I couldn't actually find your #3 if it was already solved in the first place -- please resend if you've indeed solved it

Current 4sec fury score. MrRubix, not to be rude, but you never included my four second fury score in the first update. Please remember to put this one in. |

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
I haven't the slightest clue how you people get under 130 seconds. On my perfect runs of 20 games + 3 shooting periods, I always get 135-140.

Re: Omnipwn Tournament: Dual Core
My best run on the boss is when the triangle is on the bottom left after the second mini-game.
