Default Stamina Issues

My hands gradually get worse the longer I play, after thirty minutes of playing 8's+ I cant score for crap anymore, does anyone have anything special they do to build stamina or do you just play a lot?

Also, after a while, my thumbs start bending out instead of curling in like the usually do, making them bump into each other, and it distracts me, anyone else get weird glitches like this in their hands after awhile?

For stamina building do long songs with lots of stream with little to no breaks.

Depending on your skill level this could be songs like AAA (9), prefect cherry storm(11), Strangeprogram(11), or god forbid... Pants ._.

For your skill level, try practicing stream files, like:

Tension
Over The Frail Dream
{Blaze}
Inferoplex
{Rose}
AAA


(iirc, I believe they are all 9's)

Oh, if youre in D2, then probably yeah. I mean, you wouldnt get a very good score at all, but I suppose all the wrist flailing and keyboard smashing could improve your stamina....

dumbell wrist curls (light weight nothing heavy) 5000 reps a set (do a set in the morning and one in the evening)

finger tip pushups 2709 reps a day (1 rep for every arrow in max forever)

I used to use SM dumpfiles, gained speed and stamina that way and I was a D2 player at the time when I did this. It's painful for a while, but once you adapt to it then come back to FFR your stamina is like through the roof lol.

But what exactly do you play in Stepmania? There are so many sub-par songs from what I've seen or played. It didn't seem like I was getting any better =/

I really dont like stepmania, and I only use it to test songs that I plan on using on ITG.

This is great advice and will get you through anything FFR can throw at you.

The only issue comes when you have to vibrate, which in turn forces you to tense your muscles.
Vibrating stamina files are another beast entirely, thankfully FFR only has one of these files (vRofl)

One thing I have done is do a screen recording of the file and study frame intervals. This way you can see any alternatives to doing a certain part of the file. This was exceptionally helpful for WWE and grind2.

Play dossar engine for a week. Gets your heart beat faster (Halloween) and your fingers moving faster.
