Rating changes?
I thought I had noticed quite a few difficulty ratings on files change even though they haven't had any discussion whatsoever, but I wasn't sure if this was true or if it was me imagining things -- however, after looking around through just the recent SotW threads, some file difficulties had been changed.
Some of the things I noticed: Gotta Catch Em' All: 74/75 -> 73 Alchemy: 66 -> 65 R176 v2: 71 -> 70 With a Cherry on Top: 20 -> 22 Still Blastin': 70 -> 69 Clarification would be nice for some of the changes. |

Re: Rating changes?
These are typically minor adjustments (1-2 difficulty difference) that OWA makes after he evaluates the songs on the FFR game itself. They likely occur based upon OWA's judgment thereafter and/or people's discussions on weekly song threads. These minor changes are usually made pretty quickly.
Songs with bigger difficulty issues that are yet unresolved should be discussed by making threads on difficulty changes. |

Sounds good. I was just wondering if these were being done by someone who actually had authorization to do it, or well... you know.

Re: Rating changes?
I'll touch on these individually later (4am too tired)
The reratings are a combination of minor errors on my part that I send to bmah/jx to correct after the file's been released in game + times where stavie isn't able to send his ratings prior to songs being released in game, having differing ratings from mine, talking it through and then eventually, switching the in-game rating by one or two points (hasn't been 3+ yet, thankfully) Also WaCoT definitely shouldn't be sitting at 22 anymore after that new version was added, that'll be fixed shortly Also also, most of this week's songs are going to be rerated, so anyone that sees this, hold off on making any threads pls and ty |

Re: Rating changes?
No need to touch on the changes individually; I was moreso worried about the silent/collective changes as a whole especially with the whole recent security breach.
But yeah, thanks a lot for the explanation behind this - I was getting more and more confused as I saw changes without any talks, haha. |
