Wait, rofl, you're way out of my league now

Tried this to see how hard it was; failed with a pretty much empty lifebar with a final score of 842,844. Whoop.

That being said, enjoy these scores on lighter taiko maps -

I have almost permanently switched to tablet btw, i still play mouse on occasion because it's still more fun imo. Also using a tablet doesn't automatically make you better at everything; there are so many aspects to osu, so many mapping styles that sometimes mouse would be easier.. I'd suggest trying the mouse first, see how it goes before considering buying a tablet.

I switched to tablet because i'm left handed by nature.. i'm using the mouse with my right hand (which didn't work out well, especially the spins). I've gotten better for the most part, though i'm still nowhere close to high/top tier (still needs a good deal of practice!).

I gotta ask you guys (taikoers, and hardcore SM/FFR players), what keyboard do you use and what kind do you wish you had?

I'm currently using the Razer Blackwidow and it's GREAT. I'll never use anything other than a mechanical keyboard again. The problem is, I've only had it for a few months and already I've gone through 4 setups. It is NOT built to last at all and I need something durable because keysmashing >.>
I've been looking at a few keyboards online and I've narrowed it down to a few select choices, but I wanna know what you guys think too. Anything with Cherry MX Red or Black switches are a huge + because tactile keys are useless for someone like me who bottoms out their keys all the time anyway so the actuation doesn't benefit me at all.
Here are the big two I've been considering buying, but again, what do you guys use and think, etc.

Rosewell Mechanical Cherry MX Red

Deck Legend 105: Toxic (Cherry MX Black)

I've been thinking of getting a new keyboard as well (probably going out to get one today in fact). My current keyboard is some sort of microsoft piece of crap that has really resilient keys. I really need to press down with force to get it to register anything properly and I really hate that.

I think I found a big flaw in osu!'s ranking system how does this:

Not beat this:

I'm just baffled as to how this makes any sense what-so-ever.

Think of it as FFR, its all combo based, and as you get a higher combo you get a higher multiplier. I found out, that if you get 75% of the song combo'd, it will generally be half of the max score you can get in the song. that being said, if you combo the rest of the song. you will have like.. 81% roughly, depending on slider's spinner's and so forth. and its the same thing with taiko, after 100 combo you get 1100 points per "perfect". if you got all 63 of your "greats" at that point... you would only get half the potential score

Only now you realize that? lol I've been pissed a few times at how a B was my best rank on a map even though I S'ed it because apparntly you can not get any misses and still not FC the song by messing up on a slider or something. Imho, I think the amount that combo-scoring plays in the final score is just borderline ridiculous when it comes to games like FFR and osu. I wouldn't mind small combo bonuses but when it comes to 'FC is better than any other non-fc score you can imagine', then that just makes me upset.

Not true, if you fc a song with 80%. and then miss on the last like... 5-10% of the notes but 100% the song, (outside that 1 miss) you will beat your old record, its a combo of acc + combo, not just combo

That is only accurate for Taiko mode.

osu!standard is multiplicative. The further into the song you get before you miss, the larger the penalty is. A single miss at the end of a song could drop you a hundred thousand points.

Taiko scoring is way more lenient than standard.
