Re: What would you tip for this order?
I use that same coupon everytime, and actually did yesterday. Came out to $15.88 and I gave the driver $3.

the first one has a lousy attitude and says something like "hey here's your pizza that'll be x amount okay man bye" the second one has a great attitude and says stuff like "thanks for ordering from us we have here *repeats your order* and it comes out to x amount have a great day/night and enjoy" dunno about you but I'd tip the second one unfortunately the majority of delivery drivers are the first person

I'm sure restaurants, hair stylists, and other service industry employees and businesses love you and just can't wait for the next time you graciously do business with them.
Do you take "all you can eat" as a challenge as well? Do you take all the free samples or when it says "Free: Take One" do you take ten? |

Re: What would you tip for this order?
I guess another reason I usually don't do a lot is because the place is like right down the street from me haha. There have been times I've tipped pretty high if they were really fast and friendly. But yea usually it's in the 2 to 3 dollar range for pizza delivery for me.

I hardly care if they are bored and act bored. If someone is an absolute ass which I haven't encountered yet, well yeah, I wouldn't like that. In fact when people are extremely polite it makes me nervous.

Re: What would you tip for this order?
On topic: I'd do the $20 no change situation.
Rant: I don't understand why we have a minimum wage in the U.S. if servers don't get payed at that rate. Servers main source of income comes from tips, which we have established to be 15+% regardless. What we should do, in my opinion, is pay everyone at least minimum wage and tips should be based on how the server actually performed, not some arbitrary percentage of the total cost of your bill. -o24

Re: What would you tip for this order?
Mileage? yeah right, i delivered pizza, you get minimum wage, period. Assuming you even get 20 hours a week you are lucky to break even on gas money.

Re: What would you tip for this order?
Pretty much what Pope said. Give $20 and tell them to keep the change.

Needless to say, I don't order from Pizza Hut anymore. Last three times (in different states, no less) I never received my delivery. Last edited by U.N. Owen; 10-12-2012 at 11:52 PM.. |

Re: What would you tip for this order?
If you're using a coupon, add it as it were regular price.
