Re: Permission from the black mages
No one has mentioned the One Winged Angel rock version?
The Stepmania ones sucked IMO. If I had the skillz or time to work on OWA, that would rock but I would rather leave such a song to someone more experienced. And the ending of that song just screams "SUPER LONG ASS JUMPSTREAM OF NO RETURN" Also, this permission renewed my FFR Permissions spirit. |

Re: Permission from the black mages
sorry for triple post but:
Id make some step files, biggest problem is i tryed this 1 step file maker for step mania i think or it was another program, and it SUCKED i mean it was a horrible load of crap u had to customise the bpm and everything then the steps u made were pressing in little boxes and shading it u couldnt preview it real time or anything it was horrible.. I would make step files if someone will give me a decent program that doesn't suck my balls. The program i was using was like MS paint compared to paint shop pro cs2. What i need now is Paintshop pro cs 2 which is a Step file maker :P So someone link or give ? xD |

Re: Permission from the black mages
Ok i wasnt asking for a automatic step generator.. I want to make my own steps, i just dont want the program to suck ass where its really confusing and no live preview of making it.
There must be something better for a game played by 1.3 million people.. seirously. |

Im not buying one just to test my stepfile.. So link me to some **** that can play a piece of **** .gpe or something that does the same thing but a .DWI or converts .gpe to .dwi.. because this is pissing me off .

Wow your dumb. No offense. How about you try going to Edit Songs/Courses on the main screen of Stepmania.
In other news. Zomg Black Mages permission <3 (Yes I am aware that you are the one who got permission and I'm still calling you dumb) |

Re: Permission from the black mages
Yes. If you have Stepmania installed, in the start menu folder, there should be something called Stepmania Tools. Open this then choose the option Add songs. Simply browse for the song(s) on your computer (.mp3 or .ogg) and add them. You can also add them manually but this way's easy as well. Then open the game Stepmania and on the main screen there should be an option Edit/Sync Songs or something similar to that. Click that and locate your song. It will probably be in My Creations.
Your lucky I'm posting this much so read the stickies if you don't know how to make steps. And PLEASE don't press Ctrl+R and tap to the song if you want anybody to think about playing your file. No matter how much you think it would help to make steps by tapping along as the song goes, it always turns out poorly. Good Luck |

Re: Permission from the black mages
wow i don't even know what to say. You should search through the forums all the answers are right in front of you. You may want to take more time making the files then you did researching it. Seriously red all the stickies in this thread: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...splay.php?f=19
Good luck and have fun. |
