DDR Ownage/Accomplishments

Well if you've got any accomplishments or royally owned someone in DDR, post 'em here! BTW...I think this thread should be stickied.

Well today, after pretty much begging on my KNEES *i was honestly down on my knees* I got my dad to take me to the mall with him! hooray! Well anyways...first stop after getting into the mall was obviously the arcade. I grabbed some tokens put one on the machine and waited my turn. The guy playing finished, left. and it was SUPPOSED to be my turn. Then all of a sudden this psychopath chick RUNS UP to the machine, shoves in her tokens, and i'm left standing there going wtf? So i run up quickly and shove MY tokens in too. pressed start, and bam it was on versus and there was shit she could do about it ^_^ she put it on standard giving me that "beat that" kinda look so i put it on heavy ^_^ then she's staring at me, so then i hurry the hell up and scroll through the menus before she can do anything and right there, i throw burnin' the floor right at her

thats a kickass story...put on standard and you the "beat that" kinda look...thats priceless...when my friends and i go donw to the ice rink we play at there are always a lot of kids...and inevitablely a lot of clueless kids...they always take the quarters you leave on the machine to call next...and then they never respect that anyways and they just hop on...although one of my friends has these massive chops and he ussually scares away a lot of the littluns...wait a sec she got a D on standard...joly shit that makes the story 25x cooler...what a n00b...anywho, that kinda made my day...good stuff

I just FC'ed can't stop falling in love speed mix today

I could barely move my legs at the end cause I was like putting everything in to it since I hadn't broken combo yet... almost missed the last jump cause I only hit the down arrow with my heel (I play on the balls of my feet...)

I'm pretty much the same as Maka. My story-

I was at my local bowling alley, where i DDR. There was this one guy, he's ranked like 30th or so in the world. I played a round with him, with him beating me by like 30 greats every song :\

So we got to the extra stage, he picked Maxx Unlimited. I had never cleared this extra stage in my life. So about halfway, I have about 1 miss left before I fail, yet he's still doing great. Just when I think I'm going to humiliate myself, he trips trying to hit the arrow at the right time after the freeze, and falls off the pad. However, I'm still hanging on, and I finish the ES Maxx for the first time in my life. Right in front of one of the best players in the world.

Don't have an ownage story yet, but I can AA every non 10 footer, with exception of max300, sakura, and bag, I can AA those too. As for doubles, I'm still working on MaxXUnlimited, PSM Oni, and LOM. Haven't tried Para Survivor or PSM, but I might be able to beat them if I tried them.

this isn't really an accomplishment or brutal owning story, but I thought I'd might as well post it here because I had a nice 3 hours of NONSTOP, not even one break in the middle, of DDR. I was playing Butterfly on Heavy as final stage, I about 20 seconds away from finishing it with a full combo, then all of a sudden THIS 17 YEAROLD BLONDE GUY JUMPS ON THE MACHINE AND STARTS SHADOWING ME. so then right when he jumps on, i lose concentration, and my hopes of getting a full combo go byebye down the toilet drain. I was SOO close to getting my first extra stage ever...so close. I was pretty mad.

That's story number one, here's story number two.

After my extra stage rant, and playing with that other guy for a while, he left. So there I was playing alone again ^_^ I was happy the guy was gone :P I played a couple of rounds of Burnin' the floor, waka laka, holic and dam daridam only (holic was on standard btw)...got Bs of As on most of them so I was all happy and smiling. Then, i finish my final stage, THIS GUY, OMFG I SWEAR TO GOD HE WAS ATLEAST 40 YEARS OLD, COMES ON THE MACHINE AND SAYS HE WANTS TO PLAY VERSUS. So then, I said sure and we started. HE PICKS THOSE, EXACT FUCKING SONGS, THOSE EXACT FOUR SONGS! IN THE SAME ORDER TOO! He practically AAs all of them...gives me that gayass smirk, and leaves. WTF IS THAT! omg...I was steaming after that...

So this little kid took my quarter right before I was going to play. So I says to him in my most authoratative voice "Hey, give me my quarter" (he does) " and don't steal things". Then I stepped on his face and played PSM oni while he was stuck to my shoes. It was a little slipery, but I still AA'd it.

Um... this isn't much compared to pretty much everyone else in the forum, but, what the heck...

I usually hang around the mall with my two friends, who both own DDR at their house (I don't have a PS2... or an Xbox), and I play on standard, they on heavy. So anyways, I have Stepmania so I know most of the songs, at least difficulty-wise. Soo.... long story short-

I pick Sakura-oni. of course, my big-shot friend claims he can pass it. Mid-way, he switches with my other friend. I end up getting a C (more perfects than greats

) and they both fail. (I stagger off the pad, almost pass out/throw up, remember I play on std.)

That felt reeealllly good

So yesterday I was at the arcade playing DDR and Beatmania. I told my friend to get ready to watch little girls rape the bar like no other in that arcade. We saw about 8 different people play. They were all under the age of 14 and 80% of them female. They all bar raped. To the max. Me and my friend were the only ones there who didn't bar rape. Of course my friend sucks, so I was the only good one who didn't bar rape. It made me feel better when this girl just about fc'ed exotic ethnic bar raping but I totally kicked her ass at LoM standard when she used the bar and I was like "ohsnap 1 good" and she was all like "omg why ppl play this sng so much 2day1?!?".

So yeah, me not bar raping is pretty cool.

Plus I played So Deep for the first time. Awesome song, awesome steps. I lost every time, though. The triplets or whatever get me. Also, I just figured out that the things that look like doubles in the gallops of Tsugaru aren't really doubles. I was wondering why I kept failing it.

And damnit, Beatmania is hard.

I figured that out only about a month ago as well. I kept thinking it was a jump, but it's not, which is weird since it's the only song that does that.
