Fantasy Football / English Premier League
I know this forum is predominately US but I wanted to gauge if there was any interest in setting up a FFR fantasy football league for the new English Premier League season starting 8th August.
The fantasy premier league is here: http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ It's easy enough to pick up if you've never done it before and I can answer any questions too. You don't even necessarily need an in-depth knowledge of the Premier League to have fun with this but it helps if you're looking to win. I've got my wife doing it since last year and she hates football but loves the competition of trying to beat friends and family. And if it wasn't against the rules we could consider putting credits into a pot and having manager of the month awards / overall top 3. Anyone interested? |

It's NAHT "soccer", Is Futbol skrub.
The "5GBP entry" thing kills it for me, but hey, who doesn't want £35,000 from making your dream Football team? |

It's free. It's only £5 if you do the 'ultimate fantasy league', which has different rules and prizes.

Wait you mean there is actually a sport where we share the same team we like to watch?

I also have to say I'm glad this didn't kick off. This is my worst start to a fantasy football season by far. The results haven't helped, can barely predict any matches. |

Oh right we should do an NFL fantasy football league again this year.
Also this looks interesting, I semi-follow EPL anyways. I'll take a look at the link you posted. |

Re: Fantasy Football / English Premier League
Spurs were too busy fucking themselves.

By Christmas I had dragged it up to around 800,000 though I was still in the bottom half of the mini-league. Ended up winning the mini-league and coming 161,000 overall. It's actually my third best result since starting this in 2011, so a fairly nice turnaround in results. |

My mom's side of the family are all Leicester natives and my uncle was going absolutely nuts for LCFC.

Re: Fantasy Football / English Premier League
As a Manchester United fan, once I knew they had no chance of doing anything in the league I was rooting for Leicester. Just glad it wasn't Arsenal or City. I'd have been happy with Spurs winning too in all honesty, given how their team was the most exciting team of the second half of the season.
