OBseSSion?!?

Do you ever have any obsessions about videogames taht are coming out, whether they're a new game that looks cool or a sequel to a game that you really like.

i guess you could say im obsessed with Final Fantasy.....i've been a fan since FFIV, and played all of them since....only one i personally havent playing is 11....

New Zelda titles that look halfway-decent have that effect on me. I went out and bought a Gamecube and Twilight Princess, played through it a few times, then went and sold them both back to the store.

I don't know what you're talking about but Twilight Princess was amazing. They went back to basics and did it right IMO.

Personally I'm addicted to WoW...****ing internet.

No I loved it. My point was that I went out and bought a system just to play the game. I don't play console games enough to warrant keeping it.

But I also used to be addicted/obsessed with WoW. Played it for a year, quit until the new expansion.

Let me see...I'm addicted with Mario. I play the old skool kind, like N64 Mario. i got all 250 stars whithout cheating. But the game that I can't wait is Madworld for the Wii. It looks unique and amazing.

I've never had an obsession over a new game coming out, however I have had obsessions over new music coming out. Impatiently waiting.

I did it with Porcupine Tree's Fear of a Blank Planet (and consequentially let myself down with too high hopes).

I am the person who waits to buy a console 5 years after it came out, so I have no games to get obsessed about because I can buy whatever I want anyway.

I used to love the Final Fantasy series until Final Fantasy VIII came out. After that, it was Guitar Hero, until Guitar Hero III came out. Still, I cannot say I have ever really obsessed about a video game; anticipated, at most.

The only video game I've ever been 'obsessed' over is FFR, but I suppose there have been a few that've kept me interested in them for a while. Ratchet and Clank was always something to look forward too until it started sucking :/

No, I could rant about this forever...go play the game when it comes out knowing nearly nothing about it, it's 10x more fun than knowing everything about it then playing it.
