Once I had this wierd dream and shit happened...
then I had the dream again, the exact same dream. But this time more stuff happened. Then it happened again. About the voices thing it is gettin' really creepy like it happens all the time. it isn't like the the same exact voice but the voices are whispered. so... I HAVE NO F*CKING IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON!!!!!

I think Deja Vu is just your brain trying to either connect an old memory with a new one and failing or your brain accidently recognizing your new memory (ie what is occurring and what your brain is imagining may happen) as an old one.
Here's the bigger question though. How do you really know that what you think is deja vu isn't a real memory, or is. Furthermore, how do you know that what you remember isn't made up. If you think about it, memory is entirely full of holes. |

I had the wierdest freaking dream. I dreamnt that it was christmas (which is weird in itself, since I'm jewish) and my mom and dad were someone else (I don't remember who) and they gave me this big box and I was really excited. Only when I opened it, there was nothing but a goatse pic. Then I looked up and my parents were replaced by these demon dudes, and then I was in hell. But not real hell, that cartoony hell from that one episode of Looney Toons. Then I woke up. Messed, eh?
Also, Moogy, I completely and wholeheartedly blame you for the goatse part. |

Another thing that messes some people up is Narcolepsy(sp?). I have a grandmother with that sleeping disorder.

"The Matrix" has ruined the deja vu experience for me. Everytime it happens...I always say "OH damn, Glitch in the Matrix"...it gets very annoying...even for me. I hate it, but I cant help it.

...Talking about dreams.
evr like have people try to talk to you and thn you can hear them but, when you try to respond to them you just don't hear yourself speak. The whole clock thing involves something about the left and right hemispheres of yor brain. I had Deja vu when driving down this street then, a said somthing to someone else in the car, and had deja vu. Then, like a week later, I did the same thing and got deja vu again to happen to me Ever, like, hear people saying your name when you are all alone??? It happens to me all the time and I get really wigged out 'bout it. And it happened to me all the time when I was like 7. Now it's happening again.

Oh, and the denist, I was getting some teeth pulled so they were pumping me full of some drug, sleeping gas I think, and I was like, "meh, I can't feel it, turn it up" so they like, doubled it and everything starty looking all wavy and I heard voices... like... I don't know what, like two people talking and laughing. Pretty freaky, ten the day after my mom was like "Lol, you were all screaming 'HEY! WHERE'S THAT DOCTER MIKE GUY' over and over again." And I don't remember a thing about that =/.
That's not really deja vu, more like getting high, BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT.

i get that double deja vu thing going, like, i remember having deja vu about an event more that once... i just generally attribute it to the fact that i do alot of the same thing over and over again (because i lead a very boring and meaningless life, lol).

deja vu is more than likely your mind telling you that you remember that event happening before... either due to a dream or something you saw on tv or something you actually experienced.
anybody ever watch star trek? cuz if not, i'm not gonna post my example...

I get it all the fucking time.... One time I was talking, and like, I got deja vu... And I'm all like... Whoa... Have we had this conversation before? And the person's all like, no dude, put down the crack pipe, and I'm all like, fuck you. But it's really weird eh? I love the feeling you get though, it's so kewl.... Uber hard to explainify...
