Albumix: A new (pad) stepfile series

General Info:
Albumix is a new stepfile series that I have spent all of my recent simfiling work on. Terrance / DDRMax9898 (author of the popular DWI Extreme series) suggested that I should attempt to make a series, since my simfiles over on BMS / FFR do not get a lot of hits. These simfiles are made strictly for pad, although keyboard players may have fun with the few 10+ difficulty songs (based on ITG standards). The graphics suck, because they are either all rendered abstract backgrounds by me or pictures off of google with added text (links to pictures can be found in the individual song readme’s). Almost every song in this series comes from an album – none of the songs were created with the intention of being used in a music game (at least, I hope not). Below is all the information you need to know about each pack and what they have. The majority of the songs fall under dance/house/eurobeat/techno/trance genres.

Also, a big thanks to Mooga for hosting the simfile packs! ^^

Note: As of Albumix IV - Album info will not be available - no longer going by that specific "theme."

As of 3/13/06, the albumix series is on a temporary break. College is stressing the hell out of me, and my schedule is tight with work and other obligations. I have the songlist for Albumix V and the banner, but that’s it - so there will definitely be a V. Assuming that next quarter will be fairly easy for me, I will try to start on this again sometime in the middle (at the earliest mid-April). That means that V won’t be released until May at the earliest. Until then, I hope that you guys have enjoyed the 81 sims in the series! If you guys know of a good song that would fit well in this series, let me know and I’ll see what I can do ^^ (house/dance/house/euro/etc – no rock/rap/country/jazz/etc). The second reason I am discontinuing this for now is because I am fresh out of songs – so the more songs I can refer to, the larger the series becomes =P
