MrESqueek i figured we were talking about different things...at any rate i don't c y u don't consider Space Invaders or Galaga 2D shooters. Those games were the ORIGINAL 2D shooters(they sure as hell aren't 3D). They fathered games like Raiden and Act Raiser! Look at Space Invaders/Galaga then look at Raiden Trad and tell me u don't notice the similarity (-_-). Your ship at the bottom of the screen shooting up at enemies coming down the screen at you...same concept.

YOU GUYS SUCK! For starters 1942 and 43 are top down shooters DUH and besides nout beats Gunstar heroes and the Probotecter series so go home and do some retro home work N00Bs and did i say......YOU SUCK!!! lol
