Default vgmp revival pack

PM me or post in this thread if you are interested in contributing graphics, simfiles, song ideas, or even judging. so far it's just masamursha and myself judging files but yeah there seems to be some renewed interest in my brag board thread so here goes nothing.

number of completed files:1
number of files with completed steps needing gfx: 4
number of WIPs: 3
number of collaborators so far (judges): myself, icecubez_v2. lookin for more here

again if there ends up being not enough interest i'll just release a 10 song minipack with masa but it would be deadly if we could get a 20-25 song pack going.

finished files as of now, which need graphics:

Final Fantasy VII Battle Metal Remix (icecubez_v2)
Passionate Horny Man (massflavour/icecubez_v2) (Goemon's Great Adventure (n64))
Bright Sound (moches) (Dry Lagoon)
Run! (icecubez_v2) (FFIX)
-----------------------------------------------------
please PM submissions (graphics and stepfiles) to me. thanks
------------------------------------------------------------------

submission rules:
-video game music or remixes are appropriate.
-keep times under 3:00 please:short n' sweet.
-no more than 1/4 of the pack will be long version or marathon.
-no touhou music.

song specifications:
-keyboard (spread) files are preferred
-2+ difficulties are appreciated but not absolutely necessary
-make the hardest chart the heavy steps on your simfile.
-please edit the .sm file to specify banner/background/cdtitle filenames please.
-self-made cd titles are appreciated but not necessary.

also no real limit on submissions just dont go crazy please, generally 1-3 files is acceptable. non-remixes are preferred

ill be working on my WIPS once i write my last final

There are too many packs going on currently ; HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SUBMIT TO ALL OF THEM
PS count me in the gfx army ; I want that pack to be as radiant as VGMP3 on that point.

it's been eons since vgmp3. aside from the "s0 many packs rite now" argument, I think the time is right.

as for the name: macgravel has been posting some recently. you could always get his seal of approval (or get him on board) and call this thing vgmp4.

i wouldn't mind but it isn't absolutely necessary, unless of course he wants to become involved with the pack, which would be awesome.

seeing as how you've never run a pack of this magnitude, lemme make a few suggestions

be sure you really want to go through with this. because I can almost certainly guarantee as soon as you stop caring even a little bit the pack will fall apart.

heh i sure do. i just need people who are willing to do somewhat of the same. i just started my winter break and i have time to do this sort of thing so it shouldn't be an issue

20-25 songs really isnt that big anyways

that amount of files is totally doable.

if I send anything, it'll be index files

don't let that throw you off though. they're not pad files. Just specify the kind of quality you're looking for, song length, difficulty, requirements in general cuz right now nothing is really specified.

also all vgmp packs had restrictions against touhou music, maybe you should decide that as well.

i would suggest doing an index and spread chart on whatever you submit but it's totally up to you

and hey if lots of people submit it might be more, who knows.

lmfao

that cant go to waste. include that as alt pack banner. actually, out of curiosity, does sm specify a folder banner's file location somewhere? I've never cared nearly enough to notice
