WOW! We all seem really enthusiastic about DDR...
I haven't seen a new post on this forum, page, thingy in a while SOMEONE TALK! Anyone I mean I have to goto school now so I won't be back to check the forums in a while but hey...we could talk again about how
DDR + Small Children = Angry DDR players, Injured kid, Death of small children, Angry mother, Lawyer, Jail, Death penalty. LOL! Ok I admit it wouldn't be that bad(for some ...). Well High School calls...I'd better go answer it. 8) Until I see you TOTALLY AWSOME people again I say goodbye. "Goodnight. Goodnight. Parting is such sweat sorrow. So I say goodnight untill it be morrow." I may not have gotten that down right...but that's ok. We are learnin Shakespear now. THEY MAKE IT SO I CAN"T SLEEP AT NIGHT WITH ALL THE HOMEWORK!!!! It's almost to the point now where I'd rather sit at home and play IIDX instead of going to the arcade and play DDR. I've been playing for over three years now and I'm sick of the arcade drama bullshit where everyone takes the game too seriously. It's a damn game, and people get worked up over it like it's their job, trying to be the best and then talking smack about it. It used to be so much fun but now I'm satisfied playing once every 1-2 weeks. I want to take more time (and money) to invest in my IIDX and Pop 'N Music skills. I'm pretty lucky here cause I have an arcade where everyone just plays casually and there is no drama and no little kids to run across the machine. It's not bad, but they raised the price to .75 per game I'd rather drive to Columbus and play the 4th+ for .50 and, in fact, I might do that soon.

LOL, I agree Nestlekwik. I hate the drama as well but it happens.
I can't play DDR at home that often (yes the computer one for those who have read my topic) because everyone else is always on. So I just use the one at my bowling alley. I go one it isn't busy. Yet I have seen ppl that bring in towels and athlete waterbottles and play that sucker like it was their job and they got to be good at it. Hate that stuff. You're right, it's just a game everyone. I try to play DDR at home.
I only go to the arcade when friends are with me.

Yeah, going to the arcade is more of an excuse to meet up with friends anymore than to actually play the games.
And Pop 'N Music and Des-Row are my heroes. |
