Need Help Finding BPM
Alright, it's been forever since I've been around on FFR, but I really need help with this. I've recently begun making a stepfile for Thriller.
Currently, the bpm I have is 118.460. I can tell it's really close but I'm not entirely sure. I'm looking for some professional help to find out the correct bpm, and if my offset needs fixing let me know. Here's the file: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O0GG4Y4P |

But thanks for your help, I'll try it out. Edit: That bpm is a bit too fast, thanks anyway. Last edited by Maikelru; 10-22-2008 at 12:21 AM.. |

Re: Need Help Finding BPM
If 118.53 is too fast and 118.46 is too slow, can't you just do trial and error?
ALSO the song might not have a static BPM - I recommend you use DDReam or something. |

Ive had trouble trying to find the BPM for the songs I wanna step too, I mean, are you just meant to keep on guessing till you get it right or is there an actual way?

Maybe they're using poetic license, ever thought about that?

Re: Need Help Finding BPM

start tapping to beat/tempo see number put number in stepmania as BPM wala you did BPM if you aren't good with rhythm, google mixmeister bpm analyzer you just drag the song onto the thing and usually it works.

And i would also like to point out that some songs have BPM changes so you have to double check to make sure that the rhythm of each measure matches the beat.
