Welcome everyone to another lovely Werewolf Game, were this game's theme is...

hey, I can do interesting games too ya know :<

In this game, 14 players will have to duke it out in trying to find the 2 eponymous "wolves" in the group while trying to stay in the game themselves. Getting eliminated by either getting lynched during the day or killed during the night is a loss for the player. Meanwhile, if the wolves die, then the remaining survivors win the game.

Survivors x 12 (Third Party. Wins if they're alive at the end of the game.)
Wolves x 2 (Scum. Wins if all Survivors are dead or will die without being able to stop them.)

The standard rules of the island:

Instalynches are Off; the day phase will keep going until the night phase rolls around, unless someone forces the issue of course.
The game starts during the day.
Cardflips are Partial; while the alignment of the player will be revealed, their gifted role will not be unveiled.
Nighttalk is On; post whenever you want in the thread, for it just might save you.
Oout-Of-Thread-Contact is On; seed your way through the social mores of your compatriots and find the beasts that hide among them.
Phantoms are On; deciding to not vote will just make it easier for others to lynch you, so try to avoid it.
Kkife-in-the-Back is Partial; ties are initially broken by who has had the most votes over the course of this game. If there's still a tie, then KitB will occur.
No-kill/No-lynch is Off; a lynch will take place at the end of the day to whoever has the most votes while the wolf's nightkill will be randomized if they can't or won't decide on who to kill.

Day phases are 72 hours, while night phases are 24 hours. Phases start/end at 10PM/22 server time. Any role/nightkill that goes unused goes unused. Day phases will be shortened to 48 hours once 7 players have been eliminated.

Three Survivors will get a random role for a day at it's start in a PM, and will consisting of any of the following:

- Hider (Can target someone at night. If the Hider would be nightkilled, then the Hider's target dies in their place if the target isn't in jail. If the Hider targets a wolf, the hider dies.)
- Bodyguard (Can target someone at night. If the target were to be nightkilled, the Bodyguard dies in their place.)
- Lie Detector (Can PM the mod and ask if any one post in the thread is the truth. The mod must provide a correct answer.)
- Actor (Can only vote for someone who has no votes on them. Voting on someone with a vote on them leads to getting modkilled.)
- Jailor (Can target someone at night who cannot use their role and are saved from any nightkills that night, unless they're poisoned.)
- Poisoner (Can target someone at night. That person will be nightkilled the following night phase. Cannot be blocked, but doesn't trigger the Hider or Bodyguard.)
- Silencer (Can target someone at night that cannot post the following day phase. Ignoring this power leads to getting modkilled.)
- Voteless (Cannot vote this dayphase. They will not incur a Phantom that day phase. Voting will result in a modkill.)
- Preserver (Can target someone at night who will have to carry over their role to the next day. This "carry over" counts as one of the three roles for the day.)

One Survivor is randomly declared as lynchproof (cannot be voted for lynch) at the start of every day. Whoever is lynchproof can give their lynchproof status to someone else until the last 24 hours of the day phase. This mechanic will be removed once 9 players are eliminated.

As a bonus, if anyone gets the hammer vote on a wolf, they get bulletproof (cannot be nightkilled) for the night.

Win Conditions:
You win if you are alive when the game ends.

Abilities:
At the beginning of the day, you have a chance to get a power for that day.
At the beginning of the day, you have a chance to be lynchproof, preventing anyone from voting on you that day. You made give this to anyone before the last 24 hours of the day phase.
If your vote is the last vote to lynch a wolf, you are you are bulletproof for the night.

You are a Wolf

Win Conditions:
You win if at least one member of your group is alive and all other players are dead (or if nothing can prevent the same).

Abilities:
You share a Private Topic [here] with your fellow wolf; [Username].
You have a factional night-kill, meaning that each night one of you may night-kill a player.
If your vote is the last vote to lynch your wolf partner, you are bulletproof for the night.

Now that you know the game, it's time to Outlive, Outplay, Outback, Outrun, Outlook, Outwhatever just don't die. :l

I think the only things I would change about Arnt's setup are

ignoring a vote from the voteless rather than modkilling them for voting

Similar thing with the actor

Maybe make the poisoned person do something in order to get rid of the poison otherwise poisoner is pretty heavily incentivized to use their power in certain situations

If these are done I'm fine with voting for this game mainly because I don't feel like playing a game that feels like TWG right now

I'm okay with these changes for the Actor and the Voteless. As for the Poisoner, I think whoever they poison won't die if they vote on a wolf. That sound good?

Yeah, basically. I wasn't too sure how this stuff worked and figured I might as well see whether I would have to host it or not. I didn't think anyone else would send a game in anytime soon and I needed a fix of TWG, so I figured I might as well ask. My reasoning at the time was something like "oh idk if I'll have the time to be a good host atm (I work 40hrs/wk most wks, but up to 50hrs/wk some weeks) I'd have to make EoD either 2am or 2pm server time for me to even have a chance of keeping up, votecounts would be rare and sporadic, so let's just send in a game I'd like to play and see if that'll work."

I sent it in asking soonfun whether it was even possible, and he said Charu had mentioned that he was willing to host a game if someone else didn't want to.

With that said, if 2am or 2pm server time is fine for y'all and you don't need regular votecounts, I wouldn't mind hosting it if Charu would prefer to play. I just thought it'd be more optimal to be a player so that my constraints only affected me, instead of the whole game.

Your game seems hella fun, and I'd love to play it. I like the changes on actor and voteless, but don't like a wolf not dying if poisoned. That would either translate to a positive wolf report (if poisoning is otherwise unblockable), or just be completely anti-town(if poisoning is otherwise blockable and it doesn't work on wolves). If you must change poisoner, I'd just make poisoning blockable by hider/bodyguard, but the role is good as is too.

kinda strong in the other sense, but it might work
