Re: jTWG LXXI: Harry Potter and the Rise of the Wolves - Game Thread
Considering I'm widely viewed as town I don't need to defend anything.
Keep digging your own grave though.

Because at this rate, I won't have to get you lynched..You'll make the case against yourself by pushing the lynch against yet another human.

When you hard defend someone who was almost definitely a mafia with zero reasoning you lose a bit of town cred

Re: jTWG LXXI: Harry Potter and the Rise of the Wolves - Game Thread
DFR was clearly human. You never gave any solid reasoning as to why he wasn't.
Nuff said. Also clearly mafia? There isn't even a mafia faction.. aside from that I remember you saying Riot was "clearly mafia" on Day 1. So considering we've hit both of your "clearly mafia" candidates why is this game not over given there's only 2 wolves. Every phase this fools just gonna nominate another player as "clearly mafia"

Re: jTWG LXXI: Harry Potter and the Rise of the Wolves - Game Thread
I never said that riot was clearly mafia. I read him as mafia but he at least tried. I have given many reasons as to why DFR was mafia as you could see by the post I just recently made with all of my reads in it. I have brought up many arguments against him and you have brought up nothing to defend him. You have also brought up nothing as to why Melissa is mafia but you seem to be very sure about that one.

Keep in mind, tiloco is used to DailyMafia terminology where seer is cop and wolves are mafia.
Either way, keep your panties out of knots guys. I will admit, I've been having some doubts on DFR, but that's this game for you: without flips, you never really know. If he was in fact town, I think one wolf is definite; their partner, not so much. There is one thing I ask of everyone still kicking: DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PLACES ANY VOTES OFF THE BAT. WE ARE POTENTIALLY AT A CASE OF MISLYNCH-AND-LOSE (hereby known as MYLO). IF WE DO NOT HIT A WOLF, WE POTENTIALLY LOSE AND LET'S NOT HAVE THAT HAPPEN. |

This, however, is true. Even if it's something like a gut read, at least say that regarding why you think DFR was town, and why you think Melissa is wolf. Just saying you think they are what they are doesn't help out any of us, and isn't helping your cause. |

Re: jTWG LXXI: Harry Potter and the Rise of the Wolves - Game Thread
No as I mentioned when DFR was giving up Riot at least tried to defend himself for a couple hours. I do think his reads were shitty and that he should have and could have done better but he did try to defend himself. I do think he gave up too early and I don't regret the lynch but it was at least after he tried and failed to defend himself. What DFR did was similar but to an extreme degree. His reads not only had very little substance, what they did have was all sheeped. When we were calling him confirmed mafia he didn't care at all and instead decided to walk off almost immediately.

How am I very sure about Melissa? As I said it's you and Ben.
Melissa isn't even on my radar anymore. Where's Jteh? He came back at eod, made no contributions and disappeared.

Ok why did you want to kill Melissa over DFR yesterday then? Could you just answer the question I have been trying to ask you for 24 hours yet?

Nice saltfest.
I rarely feel the need to do this, but Red, can you like actually chill lmao. You literally posted that you don't even READ stuff. I can't. I'm around now after work after not contributing at all yesterday at eod so if anyone wants to talk so I can not contribute more let's chat thanks. |

if we currently live in the world where both Riot and Flashy were town then this needs to be reiterated, especially because of the overly dumb bickering that's happening right now. Just think before you throw a wild vote out. |

I'll just talk to myself though that's okay I'm used to it~
Things to note that I saw at this last EOD that were revealing to me: ben coming up with even more convoluted reasoning and then feeling a need to strengthen it when called out by t-force. He had all sorts of cases for I vote Melissa, else I vote dfr etc. Why bother going through such a process, looked very lazy/inhibited. The very fact that there was such traction and a split gives me hope about that lynch because it wasn't just an easy rollover like the last lynch. Someone had an ulterior motive/interest in that lynch for it to be very intense/divided. Of course red blaster is seen insisting on lynching melissa over and over again when the only substantial reasoning I have on her is her creepy EOD behavior both last phase and this phase. Potentially protecting dfr or something. |

Perhaps because she's slipped under the radar? I think you put too much weight on how you feel about the most recent events which thinking about them in the context of what's previously happened.
What's changed between before eod and now to make you think that Tiloco and I are the wolves (when before you had me as town I believe). (And I can ask the same question in reverse regarding Melissa). I would guess that it's likely how I behaved during eod but I don't want to make assumptions. |

Re: jTWG LXXI: Harry Potter and the Rise of the Wolves - Game Thread
Regarding eod last phase, my goal was to get Melissa to participate in eod because I thought that her thoughts (had she showed up) would have been interesting and informative to town if she was put on the spot like that and information in crucial especially in a game with no card flips.
I did have a more scummy read on DFR, but I've been trying to learn how to use my vote not only as a statistic for eod but also as a tool to gather more information and to better scumhunt. And sometimes that means not necessarily voting on who you think is the scummiest but voting in a way that reaps the most rewards and advances town closer to victory. This is the first time I'm trying this strategy so I'm sorry if I'm not doing the best at it :/ |

I don't see the need in apologizing for not being able to incite action out of someone else. that's beyond your control and the most that can be done is just voting.
How comfortable were you being the one to insta? If Melissa came in the thread and posted, you said that she would essentially vote for dfr anyways, so why did you do the insta there? Were you just more sure on dfr than leaving it to a kitb? |
